North Raleigh Ministries Thrift Shoppe

My dog Duke and I have been coming here since they opened and everyone that volunteers and works for this great organization needs to be commended for the good work that they are doing.

A special shout out to Joy who is always professional and a pleasure to interact with, and of course Caroline who is always friendly and extremely diligent at the checkout.

If you have not been here, make plans to visit soon! I’d give them 10 stars if that was an option.

North Raleigh Ministries Thrift Shoppe is a nice place located in a strategic location. Truly like this place with kind people working there.

Definitely a thrift store worth checking if you’re in the area. Much better than the Goodwill I’m walking distance. They just remodeled recently. Surprisingly, this is a very large store that you’ll never notice from just walking by. Friendly employees and volunteers. Very organized and clean. Prices are all marked properly. You never know what you’ll find here!

My favorite thrift store by FAR! Everything is clean and organized and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. My favorite section is the books. The shelves are always neat and sorted by genre (I have yet to find this at other thrift stores) and you can't beat the prices. I always leave with an armload of books with many titles being new releases and in great condition. Just a wonderful overall experience with a great selection.

Found everything i needed, and then some ! With the help of Joy and Carolina they helped pick out some crossword puzzles from their stack of newspapers. Very lovely :)

Went here for the first time over the weekend. Very popular store lots of good stuff! Even found an acoustic guitar!! Friendly staff! Shoutout to Joy on the register!! she was so sweet and very helpful <3

I discovered this small shop by chance as I was in the area and decided to go in. Now I visit often! They have a sale on certain colored tags or by department every time I go and you can get some really great deals! The staff are very friendly and mostly volunteers I think but they're always willing to help out. The have furniture in the front, books, dishes and then further is house decor, clothes, shoes and then sporting goods, linens, rugs and bed frames. I scored a really nice leather pair of dress shoes for my husband for only $4 and a really nice laundry sorter on wheels for $4 from their sales!

I had a very pleasant experience shopping here. The store front is very large, well kept, and organized. There is a large variety of home goods, furniture, books, clothing, accessories ..etc.. for great prices. The staff was very friendly upon check out.

Best thrift store I’ve been to so far! They have a huge selection, great everyday prices as well as daily sales, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

This is a great thrift shop staffed mostly by volunteers. North Raleigh Ministries was founded in 2004. The organization supported by about 33 churches seeks to help neighbors in need from 7 North Raleigh zip codes. All of the proceeds from the thrift shop go to help fund the Crisis Center providing financial assistance to those who are temporarily struggling with finances and the Food Market which provides foot assistance. They have a variety of programs to help people move beyond their current circumstances. The thrift shop is very nice. They have lots of furniture which could be great for setting up that first apartment or picking up a few pieces for a college dorm room. There are also plenty of home furnishings. The clothes are displayed in a very appealing way. While there are less clothes than at some thrift stores, the clothes are very nice. They have books too but lack the newest paperback best sellers. This is a great place to check out and a great place to donate too to help others in the community.

Great find! Good selection and much of the stuff is in really good shape. Very well laid out and organized as well. Don’t let the store front fool you…it’s BIG inside.

Huge! It requires some hunting sometimes but I'm here at least once a week and I rarely leave empty handed. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. I'd consider this more on the boutique side of thrift stores: a lot of the items are on the pricier side but they're also in better shape than you find at most thrift shops. No trash here *cough* goodwill *cough*

Amazing prices on clothing. Brand names like Old Navy, Mossimo, Loft, Ana, Lou Ra Roe, Forever21, etc. Huge collection of books, candle holders, garden decor. Will now stop here Always before hitting up mall prices.

We regularly donate to this shop and bring in gently used household goods. The staff are very polite, helpful and grateful for our support.
