She is the best! I sure do miss her here in Illinois. I spent alot of money at her stores she had. Her daughter here in Illinois makes awesome cheese cakes yummy yummy.

I have been buying from Whiskey River Dry Goods Company since shortly after the business started. Michelle is always so fun and friendly. No matter what I have purchased, it has always been my new favorite thing. Ordering online, I receive my purchase quickly. But nothing beats going to the store because Michelle makes you feel like comfortable and welcome.

Michelle has a wide variety of items in her store. There is something for everyone. Great customer service is her priority. Transactions are smooth and items ordered are packed well and shipped quickly. It is a pleasure to do business with her!

We have an amazing experience every time we shop! Michelle and her BFF Ange are always so friendly. They make an effort to get to know their customers. They have cute clothes and the knack to put outfits together and accessorize! It is so with the, almost hour, drive.

If you are looking for Magnolia Pearl, this Midwest store is an unbelievable treat!! They are selling MP like crazy!! And that means they are granted a beautiful selection of this product line from Magnolia Pearl headquarters. The store owner is loving and kind and full of life!! It’s so easy to see in her Facebook posts. Indeed, she has customers from all over the US and abroad, undoubtedly because she knows how to make each customer feel special. It comes from her heart. And no, I’m not a relative, or even a girlfriend. I am just someone who has been in her store enough now to learn about her and her business. One very unique thing...when MAGNOLIA PEARL ‘RIGHT-AWAY’ is not quite possible, she offers LAYAWAY on Magnolia Pearl! I have never met another Magnolia Pearl distributor that will do this. So when you have your heart set on a Magnolia Pearl item, but are not able to take it with you that day, layaway is a very helpful option.

Besides Magnolia Pearl, Michelle has many beautiful items in all price ranges. She also has a jewelry selection that is perfect match for the Magnolia Pearl pieces.

If you are close enough to make the drive, the store setting itself is unbelievable. It belongs in a museum… The entire store. It has an amazing history of an era gone by, in a little town that truly honors the American heritage of the Prairie. It’s just something you have to see to grasp.

It’s only about 20 minutes off interstate 55. If you love Magnolia Pearl, it’s well worth taking the exit to Carlinville Illinois to meet Michelle in person and to see her lovely store. One other tip...Be sure to honor the speed limit on your way there. I found that out myself many years ago!!

Such a great store and variety of merchandise! The owner Michelle delivers outstanding customer service and I love her live videos each week. I'm on online shopper with Whiskey River Dry Goods, but I hope to have the pleasure of visiting the store some day!

This is the best boutique I have seen in years. The owner has FANTASTIC taste in both quality and style. My brother and I were passing through and couldn't drive past by the Willy Nelson chainsaw sculpture in the front without checking inside too. We walked in expecting a whiskey shop and were delightfully surprised by this store of treasures. I've never seen such large pieces of turquoise for such low prices. I recommend this spot to anyone who wants designer garb for affordable prices. I wish I lived closer so I could shop here often.

Michelle is always super helpful when visiting in-store and online. She curates unique, fun pieces at affordable prices. I love shopping her new arrivals and hope she stays around for years to come.

I luvs my darlin Michelle and her lovely minions. They treat me like a queen and the only bad thing is they are not close by. It’s worth the drive and I’m always anxious to get there and play in the pretties all afternoon and cruise the rest of the Square. I ALWAYS leave with at least one shopping bag. Whiskey River has transformed my closet into a fun place to be. THANKS MICHELLE!!!
