I would give 10 stars if it was possible but 5 is the highest rating. It was a great experience that left me feeling good about it all. The parking lot was clean and close to the store with plenty of light. They have 0 carts left in the parking lot causing frustration when trying to park unliike the other grocery stores It makes sense looking back at my experience and how everyone was genuinely happy . Strangers offering to help others with random things such as getting their cart to shop with and reaching items higher than what another could access. The store itself was exceptionally clean and had plenty of inventory to choose from . The lanes or isle's could very easily fit 2 shopping carts as they pass by one another . The cashier's were in great spirits and a pleasure to interact with during the check out process. To the main reason I wanted to leave this review is simply and you will see in the picture attached to my review. The amount of food that I was able to purchase for $140 easily filled up 6 big brown paper shop bags . Oh and the bags here come with handles built into them. Anything less than what I experienced during this trip to the grocery store is simply lack of effort on the other big name brand stores live Wal Mart,Kroger,

Best ground beef you can get at retail store..cheap prices nice cashiers

Went in today to pick up some things for Mother's Day because I was on that side of town. Everything was clean and looked nice. However when I got to the checkout line the lady there was moving at quite a frantic pace. She quickly explained to me that it would be better if I took all the items out of the box before I placed them on the conveyor which I have no problem doing and in the process tossed my items about. I told her having worked in customer relations quite a bit that she had the ability to control the pace and didn't have to move at such a frantic speed in an attempt to calm the frantic worker. She explained to me that they time her for how long it takes her to scan each item to be rang up and between each customer. I couldn't help but thinking this lady is no robot, she's a human being and this is quite indignant for her to be treated in such a manner. I politely said Happy Mother's Day to which she responded "I'm not really doing anything". I replied "Seems like you're doing quite a bit to me". To which she replied "This is actually a slow day sir". I think we should try to treat people more like human beings unless like robots. If it was such a slow day I don't see why she needed to move so frantically it seemed as if she was running a race and I doubt she's being paid by the number of items she rings up. I'm a big fan of Aldi's because they're German owned but I can't say that I like the way that there timing their cashiers in such a manner. Anyway I'm giving you guys a five star today for your attempt at doing good business and I hope that you can find a happy medium between moving quickly and polite customer service and Humane treatment of your employees. Nice budget shop. Various fresh vegetables and fruits can buy here. However I remember that we need to bring our bags to this shop because they are charging if not.

This is my favorite grocer out of any. They have a great selection of items that are exclusively their own, but they also carry a lot of name brand items throughout the store. Their produce is the best part. It's always fresh and they have a lot of selections.
It's a smaller store that's setup very well and I know exactly where to go to get the items I need. I skip Walmart and Kroger unless Aldi doesn't have what I need, which is rare. It's a great place to shop!

The place for grass fed beef and organic alternatives at good prices. Updated produce display offers more choice and confusion. Stick too a list, circle produce area, then make informed choices.

Excellent grocery store. Good off brands and great selection of organ8c products. Not big, but has what you need. Br8ng your own bags, buy their solid plastic ones for 10 cents each or get empty boxes off the shelf. Just remember to bring a quarter for the shopping cart (refunded if you return it). Quality products, just cost cutting in a lot of places which is why it is so much better priced.

Aldi has amazing deals and is a clean environment to shop. The employees are kind and professional. It has that strong grocery store smell that I love, you get your quarter back when you return your cart, BYOB which I feel encourages people to use recyclable or waste free bags. The coolest part is the employees get to sit down when they check you out. That I absolutely love. And I've heard the cashier's get paid like 15 bucks an hour. So here you have a clean, well stocked, eco friendly environment with happily employed staff. Wonderful I enjoy shopping here.

I always come here for grocery, sometime more than twice a week. Aldi has discounted products with red tags, but you need to remind the cashier, since the one helps you check out may not be completely trained. I like the shopping experience with cashier Audra, she is nice, patient, and especially skillful in price adjustment. She can do the price adjustment with my current order and then apply the returned amount immediately, rather than ask me wait aside.

This is my favorite place to shop! Everything is always so cheap, employees are always helpful and the store is always clean. As with any store, food can be damaged such as eggs and bread, but when scanning items they tend to be a little rough when putting items in cart. Produce tends to go bad quickly because everything is organic, but if eating the same day or next day is amazing!

Friendly employees and store is clean and always stocked .you always find a lot great import foods from Germany and Belgium and places like that really good

Great place for saving money with good products and friendly helpful cashier's and stockers. Favorite grocery store.

Love this place, they have good quality food for a reasonable price, and they have regular specials with new things to try so it's not just the same stuff all of the time. Be warned, if you consider going for the first time, bring a quarter so you can get a cart, and bring reusable bags if you have any, if you don't have any and you're getting a lot, they usually have some near the checkout and they usually collect empty boxes of goods that can also be used to transport your groceries to your car. They do not have cart corrals so you have to take the cart back up or you can offer it to any customers about to enter.

Well, now that the big boys gave it lengthwise to their customers, I'm back shopping at discount stores. It's Aldi's. A good one at that (?). I went to a Kroger brand once recently, and the aisles were empty of customers. Serves them right.

I like the products, Ambiano is my new favorite brand, I have their deep fryer, popcorn maker, chopper, etc all at great prices!!!! Special buys are great! Need zero sugar sodas there though and V8 Splash!!!

The newly remodeled store is just what we needed in Carbondale! The store is clean, organized, and stocked. I can admit before the remodel, I would drive to Marion because the store was the opposite. My thoughts have changed. I find myself there often great friendly workers!

Really like their variety of quality products. It's definitely not the same store it was 10 years ago. I've heard it from many people and will reiterate it here because it's true. Go to any chain grocer and $100 will get you a few bags of stuff. If you visit Aldi, you'll fill the cart. I rarely remember to bring my bags so instead I just repurpose my laundry basket and can usually get everything into the house in one trip.

Great priced quality produce section and great random stuff. Not the greatest selection overall . This store is ran very Efficient. Friendly staff helpful. Employees appear motivated and if there is a line they try to pick up pace/open more lanes .
