Monterey General Store had a big variety of different things from Monterey souvenirs to about all Pokémon plushies and anime figures. Everything is reasonably priced as well (on the cheaper side, though the quality of the items had exceeded my expectations!), the owner was very welcoming as well. I definitely recommend coming by and supporting this small business!

We went in after I saw beautiful My Melody and Kuromi plushies in the window. They have really affordable prices and I can't wait to go back once we're in the area again! The plushies are so soft and the prices are great considering they're Sanrio. They also have pokemon, BT21, and other character plushies.

This place it's awesome. planning to bring something back to remember with out spending a lot this the place. Theirs always something on sale and their prices are way cheaper then the rest.

I was in town and found this store near our hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. The items I purchased weren't overpriced and the two gentlemen working were very friendly and helpful. My daughter's and I found some nice things.

This is our first souvenir stop so the kids can see what General Store for what price!They have the best prices on Mexican blankets and ponchos, kids shark tooth & other jewelry, stuffed animals, ball caps, etc! Monterey General Store is a block off the main street, but worth the short walk! This is The Place to bring your kids for their souvenirs!!!

Best gift shop I've went to, let me explain. Everything in this store is now 50% off. This could easily turn into a mini bargain store. May return again soon.
