Southern Lion

That used to be Black Lion and they moved to the mall. This was before Thanksgiving so you’ll see a lot of seasonal things in the displays, which will be changed as the year goes on. The space is filled with multiple vendors. These are examples of some of areas, you won’t be disappointed.

Very large eclectic collection of unique furniture, lights, decorations, and home and garden items. A feast for the eyes! Currently located on the upper level in the former SEARS location. Plans are underway to move into an expanded, larger space on the floor level of their current location in the Spring. Owner/manager Larry is a wealth of information about buying out Black Lion to create this business. As a part of Southern Lion, lots of local small businesses have set up displays with handmade items for sale. One could easily spend 2-4 hours taking your time to explore the wares.

I love shops where I can find unique gift items that I haven't seen anywhere else. This store is it!
The prices range from 'conveniently innexpensive' to 'out of my league,' but that was fully expected, and I found lots of items that fit my budget!

What a totally fun store!!! I found the staff very friendly , desk people quick to answer your questions. Love this place as much as I loved Black Lion. Heard the lower level opens in a few months And will be amazing !! Looking forward to more visits !

My biggest problem with Southern Lion, is earning more money so I can buy up the whole store!!!!!!!!! This is the best place to find unique gifts and pieces for your home. Other than the amazing pieces in Southern Lion, one of the managers made my experience so easy. I can’t remember her name, I believe it started with an O, she had beautiful green eyes and wears glasses, her customer service was top notch. I can’t wait to return to get more items, I am telling all my friends.

My hubby and I visited Southern Lion for the first time today. We were not disappointed. Every staff member/vendor welcomed us with open arms and we even met the owner, Sonja. We watched Sonja speak to everyone that she made eye contact with. She was genuinely happy to see everyone in the store and we heard a little bit of her story and how the Southern Lion came to be. Truly a blessing! We wish you the best and it was truly an honor meeting you today!!! Thank you to you, your staff, and your vendors. We will definitely be back!

I loved the store. I bought a beautiful dining table set a coffee table and flower arrangement. It was delivered carefully and packaged well. They removed my old dining set also (for a fee). Odette was my customer rep help and she was awesome. One last tidbit, I am thrilled about the pet policy. It's unsanitary bc someone loves dogs does not mean everyone does. They are not a human! Love this store.

Southern Lion was filled with everything unique from A-Z. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I found a unique nutcracker that I can’t wait to display with my collection!

Great atmosphere, outstanding selections from an array of vendors. Friendly and helpful staff. If this is just a pop-up, I can't wait to see what they have in store when they unveil downstairs. Can't wait for February.
