Walgreens

5/19/2023 a little after 3 PM . The gentleman working register was very kind to me today and got me rung up quickly. I got off work about an hour before. I had tried Walmart but they had no customer service in medicine. Walgreens may be a little more pricey BUT you always have excellent customer service AND treat customers with respect. I will pay for that difference any day.

What a positive and courteous experience I had this morning at h this Walgreens. I am traveling from out of state, and had a minor emergency with her implant. Dentist called pharmacy late last night, and this morning we drove to this location and they had the antibiotic prescription filled, and I was told I have to wait for the mouth rinse. When I called store, prior to arriving, they said it would be an hour and a half wait. Talking with the pharmacy tech, she said that’s a call center response. The script was completed in 15 minutes. Kudos to the in house pharmacist and the tech. They made this emergency easier.

Kelly in the pharmacy was so lovely talking to on the phone, I got diagnosed with Rocky Mountain spotted fever and they rushed my prescription so I could start it sooner!! They are always fast at this Walgreens and nice! It’s been a few weeks since my last review and I currently just went to the drive-through and Tessa was wonderful as well she helps me get my prescriptions faster where I live far away from town she made it a wonderful experience

I went through the App to make an appointment for my first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on Monday 13, 2021 as well as the Flu vaccine. I was greeted at front of the store with a hello, can I help you (along with a smile), as I proceeded to tell her I needed vaccines she showed me with her hand the right way. Once getting in the back in the Pharmacy department, the friendly pharmacy tech was pleased to help me. I then realized after all the repeated questions I was answering again from the Walgreens App didn’t get to the Rockford St. store in Mount Airy, NC and was told that everyone who fills out the application online on the App had to fill and reanswer same questions again. I did as was told because I didn’t want any information left out, by no means. But at the same time - why even have it there on the App to begin with, I even downloaded my insurance information-now who got that, wondering.
The paperwork didn’t take all that long but was at home filling it out on App trying to avoid all that hassle. The wait time after returning paperwork wasn’t long at all. Another friendly pharmacy technician was available in no time. The vaccines were each explained to me verbally and being that I had already consulted my Specialist MD about the COVID-19, I had no questions except the overall most common symptom/complaint of the first injection. She explained to me everyone is different, but a lot of people are tired a day or so. Everyone was friendly and attentive in the Pharmacy and other areas throughout this store. I recommend this Walgreens because the staff know the layout of their store and their friendliness and smiles keep customers like me coming back.

Since this review, I was notified by my App within my Doctors network that this Walgreens had sent All my vaccination information to them in a timely manner. Thank You Walgreens. Please get the Walgreens App fixed ASAP so people, like me, won’t fill out the form NOR download their INSURANCE INFORMATION. Thank You.

Just moved from out of state and the pharmacy staff made it so easy to transfer my prescriptions, they did all the work. Extremely friendly and professional.

Walgreens’s was there for me during my time of traveling as a health care worker. I was impressed with their response and the refills of my prescriptions. And every new location I was greeted with a great professional staff. Thank you for your time and help.
