stopped by on a whim looking for some great homecooked breakfast and we found it! Eggs, Sausage, Biscuit and Gravy and Pancakes were so delicious! Quaint and cozy, made for a perfect road trip stop.

This is best place for breakfast at Fancy Gap before enter the Blue Ridge parkway. The staff is nice and food is great. The restaurant is clean. All the foods are American style.

So far, I've had the seafood platter, I've had the chopped sirloin 10oz, and something else...but everything is exceptional.
The waitresses call you honey, and sweetie. Everyone seems to know everyone...

We were passing through and decided to stop by this little country diner for lunch. I love the friendliness of everyone and the food was delicious. I've been in big fancy restaurants and little dinky diner, the food here was excellent!!! Thank you!!!

Probably few times I'll say this but the breakfast here is really good! Pricing made really fair. For someone who comes from New York. This was above average

Excellent American-style food!
I often stopped there for lunch on a Saturday in July over a period of many years until the annual conference I attended moved from VA to NC after 2015.
I am happy to see that the Lake View Restaurant is still in operation.

Good small town restaurant along blue ridge. If you are in the area during breakfast it is delicious. We had lunch today and I had the cheese steak sandwhich on sub roll with onion, mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes. My side was onion rings. To sandwhich and onion rings was so good if I was not so full I would want another. My guy had a burger with onion rings medium rare. He was just as happy. We love eating here and people are nice. Love an old fashion country dinner you will love this place.

Absolutely wonderful mom and pop restaurant we had the pleasure of dining in today for lunch. If you are ever in the area don't hesitate to stop in and give them a try. We will be back on our next ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Loved the room!!! Updated all inside the room but not so much outside but the room is the most important to me.
Great room, price hard to beat!!! Walk across the street to the cafe - great food there & sooo convenient!!! Will definitely be going back to that room with great service runned by a Great Manager!!!
