Healthy Life Market

I'm a person who has interesting food needs. And this place covers it all, I'm blown away. I've lived all over the country, and I think this is my most favorite health food store to date. Not only do they sell Carhartt and bobs. They have exceptional herbs, supplements, and they carry my favorite banana milk Moola. They even have wine from Italy. This was worth the treck from summersville for me!

I have Auto Immune Eosinophilic Gastroenteritis....basically I'm allergic to all man had done to our food. It's nothing to have 6 allergic reactions (from tongue to tail) 18 items of food. That's my life now. Food boring. Or,I can eat anything and stay projectile vomiting up,severe hours long cramping ( waking up my bellys "fighting sea urchins) or diarrhea with gravel constipation!!!
To have my Uber/Lyft driver Matt tell me and take me to this wonderful land of "milk and honey".
I'm so grateful to find this. I bent over to get a 4 pack of beverages off the shelf,and I wasn't able to stand upright. That happened twice in there. The second time "Kevin without the K"( because I always introduce myself as Sindy with an S) he helped me so much. He has only worked there for 5 months but was so knowledgeable. Mariah at the front as well. They also accepted my food stamps. That's incredible because to eat healthy usually means "green" money. I'm on disability, so my funds are very tight.
So....I was only in Charleston for two weeks, now I'm back home. Very sad not to be able to shop there again. Guess I'll have to go back to being sick all the time, or REALLY LOVE my 18 selections of foods that don't fight me back.
Life is grand, eh. I only spend $52 bucks and got a ton of delicious food!!

The Healthy Life Market found in Drug Emporium in Kanawha City has the broadest selection of Healthy Foods in the Valley. I go there regularly to get items I can't purchase anywhere else in town. If you have a restrictive diet or want organic, gluten free or similar options, shop here!

Wonderful place!

Surprisingly nice health food and supplement store. Searched on Google and then found it inside the Drug Emporium. Great selection of products. Glad I took the time to explore it. Took one star off because of the time it took to locate the store (no outside sign for the Healthy Life market).

I go there at least once a month. I like their organic fresh food, dates, kimbucha and coconut milk creamers. You name, they are usually the first to have it. They are always ready to assist in any way they can, also.
