NY strip steak and wild caught salmon were some of the best if not THE best we have ever had! The carrots were also from there! It seemed sacrilegious to eat the steak off a paper plate actually! The service was also great!

What a difference a location makes. We stopped going to the Avon location after 13 years because of the terrible customer service. We had guests coming, so we decided to check out the Zionsville store. It's easily 4 times the size of the Avon location with a great selection. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

While we REALLY miss the smoothie bar (it was the best), we appreciate having a local butcher. We hope more and more will support it. Our turkey for Thanksgiving was one of the best we’ve had.

Real cute little grocery store, got fresh goat cheese and 2 circle city kombucha cans! It was $14 total so kinda expensive, but to be expected for local products

I really, really like this shop. The personal here are all extremely helpful and knowledgeable and no request is denied unless the request can not be filled. I have been coming here for a little over two years now for all of my meats, bacon and eggs (primarily) and will be getting my Thanksgiving turkey from them from now on. I purchased a 14 lb Smoked Turkey for pickup on the 23rd. It was absolutely the most flavorful and moist turkey I have EVER had. And I am a old Duffer so I know what I am talking about.
I have not been to any of the other locations so I can't compare. They must be pretty good because they are opening another shop.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Just made some faroe island salmon from here and it was delicious. Shout out to the meater thermometer as well for a perfect cook every time. Their freezer sales on mondays are great. Good price for great meats. Even their produce selection is prime. Never find any rotten veggies in the bags. Always very fresh. Can’t say enough good things about them.

It is a great butcher shop and store. Very knowledgeable people also professional and friendly. Quality meats of all kinds. I think they make there own sausage. You will not be disappointed. They even give you recipes online if you sign up for email. There meatloaf is so very good. They prepare it all you have to do is cook it.

This is the best little market! Great products, delicious meat and everyone is incredibly friendly (especially Amy!). We go multiple times a week and find we are eating fresher and healthier. Would love to see deli sandwiches made for a (much needed) quick to-go lunch option in the village... I am sure they would be delicious!

excellent customer service and they don't just sell beef and pork, you can also buy fish and other meat say well. They also sell chocolates and cheeses. Plenty of things to choose from. It's definitely worth stopping to look.

Fantastic butcher shop that is my go to for everything I cook, grill, or smoke. The staff are always friendly, they have a great selection of products, and the things in the fresh meat counter always look unreal. It's hard for me to not want to buy everything I see whenever I'm there!

Wow! Who knew we had such awesome local options so close! They had quite a selection of dairy and a few wines as well. I went in as a place to pick up Market Wagon orders and discovered a beautiful store, not a simple butcher shop!

I’ve never had better steaks than the ones of purchased from Moodys. The staff is very friendly. Their prices are very competitive. Don’t buy your meat from the grocery go to Moodys!! Put your order in early the sell out quickly.

The butchers are amazing and so helpful. They ask about what you're cooking and offer suggestions and words of wisdom to help guide your dinner along perfectly. They never fail to disappoint me! High quality products throughout the store. This place is truly a gem

I love shopping here because of the warm wonderful people who work there. They truly promote a strong community in Zionsville. The food us of the highest quality and ethically farmed. But the juices are my favorite! Pure nutrition. Thank you Moody's so very much!

If you're into quality, and the most local of local, you've just done a flying cannonball into heaven. The Moody family raises their own feed that goes into their own livestock that is expertly butchered and sold in their own stores. You can expect the utmost quality from any product you see in their case, from beef ribeye, to chicken thighs. The rest of the store is littered with lovely local and organic cheeses, produce and dry goods and even a nice bottle of wine to round out your meal experience. Can't recommend enough.

This place is a game changer for our meals. The chicken breasts are consistently fantastic - we quit buying chicken from the grocery store after inconsistent quality made it hard to know how good a meal would turn out. Moody's is consistent in size and quality.
