Guesthouse Prebibaj

Personaly for me one of the purest fellings in life, I would never think such remotnes and solitude and generosity of people is possible in 3.rd millennium in Europe! Our family walked in from Theth, 10 hours on unbeaten tracks that are sometimes hardly visible and as such hard to follow.
Anyhow most pristine natrure, charming locals, tasty strictly homemade food, non foreign language spoken lady greates and serves you. No signal in the valley, 4 hours of walk to the nearest jeep. I would recomend walks to Theth and probably Valbona only in fall, when vegetation starts to lay down. Paths are absolutly overgrown, becouse there is not many shepards in present days.

We recently had the opportunity to stay and experience the hospitality of this guesthouse, and it was truly stunning! The combination of the breathtaking surroundings, delicious food, and friendly locals made for an unforgettable experience.

Prebibaj is in a very beautiful place. The dorm is simple but nice and the food was very very good and there was so much of it.
The owners don’t speak English but are really lovely.
We came there hiking from Theth but this is not recommended because the path was very hard to find and in a bad condition (2022).

I know how it sounds, but this is the best place I have ever been. The food was awesome and what's more! All locally made. To get there you have to pay in sweat, but believe me, it is worth it. The village is a great place to see and the surroundings are the best. Owners family is the kindest people I have met and the house is also great place to chill.

Nice place to stop on walk from Markaj to Thethi. No common language but lovely owner and huge amount of food. The paths need more people to walk them as they are getting overgrown.
