River Side Camping

Outstanding kind owners.

Hot showers, clean sanitary, a small garden, filtered drinking water. Some chickens running around. Directly at the road, but quiet at night. Only 15 min walk into city....Everything you need.
We even got fresh Oranges as a welcome gift. So nice. 💯 recommend this place.

Perfect camping site to park with our van and to visit Berat. The sanitary are great and spacious. The location is nice, with trees and a view on the castle up hill. The owner is super nice and we got fruits as a welcoming gift.

I am french cyclotourist. I spent one night in the camping with my tente. The staff was very helpfull, everything is clean. It's a small camping but very well équipes. There are a safe place for bikes. In few days, a grassy area and toilets will be available. The old is close (about 30 minutes along the river.
I definitely recommand this camping.

This was probably the nicest camping we've been to on our trip in Albania, although you don't have a view of the river from the camping.

The staff of the camping are the nicest people and everything is really well equipped and sanitary. You have places to set up tent and to put a van. Because it was so hot, they put up a small pool to find some cooling whenever you like. The lady of the camping even gave us some free fresh fruits from the garden. A lot of fresh drinks to buy on the campsite so you don't have to go to a shop to buy your hydration supplies.

It's only a 15min walk from the centre so i would recommend camping here when visiting Berat!

Great campground, with just enough shade. Toilets are well maintained, look nice and are kept clean. The owners are very welcoming. They told us all about the site and how to get to town. They treated us to some tasty fruit. The town of Berat is a short walk away and for me the most beautiful town in Albania.

A wonderful place with very friendly people. The place is very clean and has a great tent site. We got a very warm welcome and fruits as a welcome gift. The city of Berat is in a walk distance of 10-15 minutes.

Living in this camp was an experience beyond my expectations and incomparable to anything else. 5/5 rating is insufficient to express how amazing it is. The place feels like home, the owner must be an embodiment of an angel.
Lovely environment, abundance of shadow during hot summer days. Drinking water is available, the showers and bathrooms are very clean. There's a fridge filled with drinks to take anytime and the owner is so trusting that you pay for all you took at the end of your stay. The camp also has a functional kitchen that is visually appealing as a bonus.
Walking distance to the city center, grocery stores, bakery, or the castle.

Super nice and warm welcome from the owner. All facilities are cleaned continuously. Can highly recommend it. Easy walking towards old town of Berat. We stayed one night. Would recommend to book in advance or call her before you arrive (high season). We were very lucky.

What a fabulously unpretentious camp ground. Just 10 minutes walk from the old town, and 30 minutes walk from the castle (I'm told - we had bikes). Warm welcome from the lovely lady who settled us into our pitch and returned with fresh, local fruit for us. Maybe half the pitches are shaded. There is a lovely garden to sit in, toys and a small playground for children, a camp kitchen, and a fridge full of cold drinks that you are able to take and then tell her later what you owe. 3E for a laundry load - again, just tell her if you've done laundry when you check out. I found her at 9pm still walking around with fresh fruit, asking me if I'd had a nice day, and telling me to just ask her if I needed anything. Just 15E for 2 of us and our motorhome. Highly recommend this place.

Super nice camping place in Berat. The owner is very kind and explained everything she has to offer. There are showers, free electricity/water, free wifi, a very cute garden to cool down after a hot drive with cool drinks and very cute kittens! There is also a communal kitchen you can use. The owner also happily explains to you how to find your way around the beautiful city of berat. It is about 10-15 minutes away from the center of the old town and probably 40 mins to the castle of berat. Highly recommending the place!

Nice and small campingside, really close to the center of Berat. The owner is very nice and welcomed us with fresh fruits and was helpful with all the information we needed. Showers and toilets were cleaned all the time.

Everything in camp was awesone. Nice spots to park camper or tent, clean toilets/showers. They have kitchen, laundry, garden in shadow of the trees.
Pricing is something around 7€ - 8€ for person/night. Child's free. Owner of the camp is very friendly and kindly.

Beautiful place for tents, drinkable water from the tap, laundry option (3€), clean facilities and a very nice host who gave us a fresh bowl of fruits from the garden! 10 minute walk to the center and a small inflatable pool!

Incredible place, very friendly owners that give you a warm welcome with homegrown fruit and they don't hesitate to help you out with anything you need. Cleanest sanitary ever. There are some nice seats under the wine ranks with an honosty bar. Most pitches have thatched roofs that provide lots of shade. The old center is 10 minutes walk, it's very flat so it is an easy bike ride.

Such a nice and well run campground to spend a few days.

Great hospitality. A warm welcome and tour of facilities and dish of fruits from the garden on arrival. Great value overnight rate and honesty bar and laundry are very reasonably priced too. €15 per night for 2 adults in a camper - electricity included. All facilities are here - domestic water for the van, drinking water, grey water and toilet disposal and 1 laundry use included in price - €3 for extra use. Showers and toilets immaculate. The owners rely on your honesty when paying. Highly recommended.

In January, we have spent 5 nights at this campground. Actually, we just wanted to stay 1 or 2 two nights to get our washing done. But the owner is such a welcoming and friendly person. She gave us fresh fruits as a little welcome gift. The other days we got more fresh fruits and home made red wine. The campground is very good located to explore the city Berat by foot. We definitely come back soon :).

At first sight the place does look more like a camper area with some shade. But behind this, the very friendly and helpful owner created a nice sitting/terrace place. For €15/night you have everything you could need (very clean toilets/showers), including the first use of the washing machine (if you need more than one it’s €3/wash). There is a kitchen you can use (as well as dishes and cutlery), a fridge from what you can pick a drink or beer (that you pay at checkout). As a welcome you get some fresh fruits. Everything is done on trust basis and it works! Well done! We recommend it!

Great location for exploring Berat. The toilets and showers were kept immaculate. There was plenty of hot water. Pitches were all level under a canopy. Staff were really friendly.
