Auto Mercado Plaza Herradura

Nice and clean shopping mall with supermarket Auto Mercado as an anchor. Shoppers could find pretty much everything necessary in a kitchen here. Foods, fruits, beverage, etc. Looking for a Costa Rica wine label but all one can find are labels from USA, Chile, Argentina, or France and Spain. However, there are plenty tropical fruits mangoes, soursops, pineapples, rambutan, etc.

Comfortable and ample parking. Really like that the parking lot has so many trees. Auto Mercado, well same quality, variety and good service you come to expect form the this supermarket chain

Best choice of fine food, produce, juices, etc. Located near Los Suenos, it's where you'll find high-end food you can't find elsewhere. Very secure and the staff is friendly and great in helping you. Bring your own bags. We've been coming here since 2011, price is good especially for items you've been looking for.

Anybody that has gone to an Automercado, knows that it's a really clean trendy place, they have several things from the states, that you don't find in other supermarkets.
What I really liked about this one, was that they have a huge selection of things that you cannot find in o they AM in San José, at really good prices. I guess it pays off having a big expat community.

Amazing grocery store !! If you’re visiting from US there are so many different choices for different items that will make you feel right at home !! Grocery store is stocked well, very clean and organized. My go to grocery store to go to !

Great selection of wines, meats and cheeses, just let everything you could need. Air conditioned, very clean, great service. Huge deli section. Highly recommend.

Upscale. Hard to find items. A bit on the pricy side but clean, wide isles and great service.

The prices are a little high but the selection makes up for it. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Get those items you are craving...USA and European brands. High end cheeses, meats and sushi to go. Very nice wine and liquor selection as well. If your e going fir typical foods found in Cista Rica this is definitely higher cost than your regular stores.

We live in a gated community near the Auto Mercado. We love the convenience of this store and that they have blue cheese which can be hard to find. The staff are great and very helpful I buy my fresh flowers from this store and the quality is exceptional.

American style grocer. Safe secure great variety. Takes credit cards.

Love this grocery store has a lot of things that you can't get in Costa Rica from America which is kind of nice little on the high end and prices but worth it

Great grocery store, place where you can get fresh produce better than anywhere else. Prices are higher than other grocery stores but they have an assortment of goods from foreign countries, like the US and Canada. I enjoy shopping there.

Can cost a fortune but you can find most specialty food/grocery items here. Good selection of North American and European products, a decent bakery and a good (clean) butcher counter.

Best grocery store around Jaco to find fresh products and specialty items like gluten and dairy free products. Clean, nice and beautiful store.
