We stopped here on the way to Puerto Viejo & Tortuguero and we loved it! It's super easy to get in touch with the owner (use WhatsApp) to arrange a visit. The cost is not high at $25 pp and the setup is amazing - very comfortable to view the birds and then a quick walk through the forest (we were there for 2 hours which was just enough). We had a group of Aracari toucans come by and sit super close to us - amazing! And we saw tons of other birds including some rare ones to this region. Highly recommended.

Miguel heeft ons een fantastische rondleiding gegeven in zijn tuin en het aanpalend bos ( 25 $ pp). We waren er 3 uur, zagen er zeer zeldzame vogels en hebben veel bijgeleerd over de fauna en flora van Costa Rica. Onze uitstap begon om 6:30, het ideale moment om de kolibries te spotten. Kinderen mogen er in aan de helft van de prijs. Aanrader !

Nectar Pollen es una parada obligatoria que debes hacer. Don Miguel es una persona muy amable y tiene un alto conocimiento de las aves que visitan el Jardin. El dia de nuestra visita vimos gran cantidad de aves desde Wrens hasta tanagers, tiene muy buenos comederos y la atencion fue increible.
Esperamos volver pronto.
