Food Quality: amazing place to try. The food is delicious. Awesome burgers! Both of them, very tasty, great combination of ingredients, and very satisfying. Pizza was also quite nice. The french fries were also amazing. Cut in wedges and perfectly fried so they were the perfect amount of crunchy and not oily.

Portions: very nice portions. The burger is the perfect size, and a nice amount of fries as a side dish.

Drinks: a nice variety. Margarita was well made.

Price: $$-$$$ very good prices for what you get. Good quality food.

Service: very friendly staff. Always happy to help.

Atmosphere: very nice place just before the bridge. Lots of wild life around. Even saw a big iguana while enjoying my lunch.

Highlights: food. Especially the burgers.

Things to improve: as i mentioned to the staff, maybe a little bit extra blue cheese in the burger, but everything else was amazing.

Amazing!!! We had the garlic shrimp to start. Incredible! My husband had the ribeye and I had the tuna. Both amazing. The waitress was great and the cats were amazing 😜would definitely return next time we are back in town!

This week we will be sharing amazing recommendations of must-visit hidden gems in Puerto Viejo, Caribe Sur Costa Rica on @espotscr. First off with @rionegrocr, we visited this place for dinner time and Wow 🤩 what a way to start a delicious culinary experience in the Caribbean.

Of course, we wanted to try seafood for our first dinner!

We tried the Catch of the Day (delicious amberjack) dish which was a mind blowing experience of flavors, it came with a reduction of white wine and butter -lord!- simply delicious. The fish was super tender and fresh and accompanied by white rice and vegetables. Simple, fresh and you just didn’t want it to end!!

We also tried the octopus 🐙 One of the best octopus we’ve ever tried, it was buttery tender easy to chop and felt like melting in the mouth. This came with a reduction of wine as well, super strong yet delicious flavors.

For drinks we enjoyed a Fruity Mojito and a Fruity Smoothie both with a mix of berries! Great drinks as well! 🥰

Overall we give them a 10/10, the attention was great, they kindly gave us a mini appetizer and mini dessert for free that left us wanting for more! The place is pet friendly as well, which we absolutely love!

The food was insanely delicious, and the open air atmosphere made for an incredible dining experience.
The pineapple flambé is on point!!

I ate here twice and both times were great. The hamburger with pineapple was my favorite. The steak was also delicious. However if you typically get your steaks medium , the medium here was more like medium rare. The ambiance was relaxing and quaint and everyone here was super friendly.

Nice place. We had some cocktails and local food. Very nice atmosphere in the evening.

This is the second time we have been here, and we will definetly return again. The service was really good both times, erika was really friendly with perfect english. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chips were the best ive had in puerto viejo. I had the vegan chocolate brownie with passion fruit sauce to finish with dessert and it was scrumptious.

Set back just a little from the rode, the inviting appearance pulled us in. We pulled over, decided on a drink and a lunch. Very wonderful ceviche. Simple but delicious menu. Drinks are so refreshing, and worth every penny. Beautiful atmosphere. Very happy we stopped. I could spend hours here.

Super cool spot! Atmosphere is fun, service is spot on and the food was delicious! We got the vegan pizza and burger and loved every bite of it! Highly recommend!

Delicious and the best caipirinhas I’ve ever had. We went for them two nights in a row. The food was excellent too, including the pizza. There’s was one very nice lady taking care of everyone. The second night some other saw a sloth in the trees which was exciting!

Cool place with great vibe right by the river crossing so some good people watching as traffic yields each way. Excellent ceviche with many kinds of fish and cute place!

It was so delicious! And the price are very good ! Ava and the team so nice ! The shake and also the vegetarian burger are more than excellent.Jentle and Special. And I enjoyed a lot to see the sweet street while I'm eat. For sure I will come back! Garcias

One of the best vegan burgers ever!!! Giant lentil burger deliciousness. The fries are amazing melt in your mouth mystery. Everything is homemade, even the bread! And if your bicycle chain comes off (like it did for me) chef Andres will help get you back rolling. PURA VIDA.

Good steak, nice atmosphere. A bit pricey for the portions but I think that's a tourist town for you. Very relaxing. Nice staff.

My favorite meal in Costa Rica by far. So good we came back twice. If you are staying in Puerto Viejo, rent a bike, cruise over, and try the pina coladas. Or any of the food. You won’t regret it. Great ambiance and a truly wonderful time. Thank you!!

We had a beautiful lunch! Everything was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the homemade guacamole and und bebida Fresca with avocado and bananas. The steak chimichurri and fish of the day was incredible! Thank you Ericka for being the best!
