Bakery cafe montezuma

In my opinion the best place for breakfast in montezuma, but the also have lunch and/or diner plate, but they do close a bit early for diner unless you grab to go. Service by Angelo is top notch, so patient, friendly, ùtil. And the juice are sooooooo good if you like a smoothies juice.

Excellent breakfast and great service. I think the only criticism I could give is that the wait for the meal was long, but that only was a slight issue, as we wanted to start our activity earlier. But that's on us.

Friendly family run atmosphere. Luis and his staff will be attentive but give you space too.
Great for relaxed people. Everyone comes here, families (there are basic toys), digital nomads (it has WiFi), locals and tourists.
The food is prepared and served with care, it's a simple menu which works well.

Wonderful tranquil place. They have absolutely excellent coffee if you like that good good bean juice. And a pleasant-affordable chocolate croissant-$3. Go here if you want yum yum.

Ok, wow. I LOVE this place. The prices are decent, the service was fast and everything is homemade. I loved the traditional Casado for lunch. The smoothies are TO DIE FOR. I was totally heat exhausted after a long day of shooting video, ordered the Amazonas passion fruit iced drink and was rejuvenated. Really, the drinks are amazing. A double espresso with a slice of chocolate cake was an epic ending to a delicious lunch. Highly recommend.

This place quickly became a daily stop for breakfast. Great variety of options, but always went for the gallo pinto plates. On top of having great coffee, they also have some of the best fruit juices and smoothies. Great to cool off during a mid day walk back from the beach. 10/10 recommend.

This is a beautiful bakery in a quiet part of Montezuma near the beach. It shaded and cool with the fans on the porch sitting area. Beautiful decor with paintings, plants, and chimes. They baked the best banana cake I’ve ever had. Also delicious bebidas naturales, I recommend the Amazonas. The eggs and chocolate cake are also divine. We had breakfast food and bakery items but there’s also a full lunch menu with a range of main courses for all palettes (good prices). More importantly the service was exceptional. The female server and female chef were so hospitable with great attention to detail they made sure we had everything we wanted. I would come back to Montezuma just for this bakery and banana bread again. Gracias por todos!

Good place. Big menu with a bunch of options like Mexican, Indian, Italian, local food, and salads. Friendly staff. Slightly more quiet than the other places close by. Nice calming music. Nice vibe. Nachos and tacos were good.

Enjoyable breakfast with decent coffee and good service. The bircher muesli is good as is the banana bread.

Very cute spot! Had a smoothie and coffee for take away, but would have definitely loved to have sat in for a meal. Reasonable prices for food and lots of smoothie variety.

This is the best restaurant in Montezuma! We ate here for breakfast and lunch multiple days, and the family who runs the place are so sweet! They have many vegan and vegetarian options while still offering authentic Costa Rica dishes. The patio is so nice to sit and eat while enjoying the sounds of birds. If you stop by, try the banana bread. It’s really amazing, and I find myself craving it even now.

This is such a wonderful place to be at. I spent several days here eating breakfast, brunch and lunch. The foods quality is superb and the staff is super kind and lovely. It just feels so comforting staying here and watching the birds sing and monkeys play around and listening to the ocean waves in the background. Thank you so much for this wonderful time ☺

Wow. I was blown away with this quality of foods. I had a variety of things from a fruit drink, cappuccino, eggs and pancakes. Everything was delicious. The wait staff has such a great personality and service was quick. Outdoor seating with music, monkeys and birds in the backdrop. I have no complaints.

Everyone here was super friendly. Great atmosphere. The food was fantastic. I would definitely visit again!

A friendly local spot for breakfast. Ordered a latte (one of the better ones I’ve had in CR) and the Bircher Muesli, which was packed with loads of fruit. Great attentive service from the guy who was on duty (we even got some tasty rambutans and banana bread for free!) Would definitely recommend.

Food was fantastic, tasty and good portions. Team was awesome, ensured we had what we needed and tended others coming and going!

We went here for an afternoon lunch.
We wanted to order some seviche but the owner was nice enough to inform us that the catch of the day was tuna.. He recommended going for some m which we did.

The spicy tuna salad was great!! Next to that we ordered some hummus which was great as well!

Definitely recommend for a cosy quick bite!

nice location and great choice of coffees and other small snacks. I did love the ice coffee with vanilla however many other choices available.

SO GREAT! It's a block away from town, so you might miss it...but don't. My husband and I had breakfast there and ordered smoothies, the fruit parfeit, a pico gallo, and a bread pudding. The servings were huge and it was all so beautifully presented! Plus the woman running it was so kind. 10/10 would recommend!
