Puggos is an awesome place, off the beaten path, feels like you’re in the jungle, great food and cocktails! Watermelon jalapeño margarita was delicious, and the music playlist was great! Lovely doggy at the front as a greeter😊

Best restaurant in Costa Rica! This place is so magical and the food is out of this world. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant. The chef is a genius in the kitchen. You can enjoy flavors from around the world all in one cozy laid back paradise :)

Puggos also does amazing catering we have used their services for several retreats. They easily produce food for twenty plus people that is healthy and delicious! It is always the highlight of our trips to Costa Rica.

Wow... The best food I had in a long time. You taste the love it's cooked with. The decor is unbelievable and the owner Chef Maya and her husband will treat you like family. Food was so good that we went twice in the 5 nights we spent in Puntarenas and Montezuma Costa Rica.

We celebrated my granddaughter’s 6th grade promotion. The restaurant was beautiful and had a nice ambiance. The owners and our servers were very nice. The food and drinks were delicious.

Beautiful, wonderful place! The owners are warm and kind, the food is incredible and such a nice change from the eat-and-go restaurants in the area. And the bread...omg the bread...incredible. We had the osso bucco and the beef carpaccio and salad and every bite was perfect. The decor is beautiful: warm lighting in a gorgeous garden that make you feel like you are in a dream tea party. Loved it all.

Can there be 10 stars!!! The love Maya has for food and cooking and ambience comes through the minute you walk through the doors!!! The resturant is beautiful, the food superb and she is a talented, wonderful and giving spirit! Go, eat and enjoy, you wont regret dining here!

Absolutely delicious food with beautiful atmosphere! Generous portions and reasonable prices. Saw a howler monker family right next to the place. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing dinner at Puggo’s. The owners and staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely incredible and the ambience is stunning. Best dinner in Montezuma hands down!

Great dinner experience. We had the burger (which was good) as well as beef hummus (really good) and eggplant carpaccio (very good too). Highly recommended!

We feel good when we are.
Peoples are really nice.
And food is amazing, the only problem is the difficulty to make a choice !
So, have to come back.

The food was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful and unique. The service was impeccable!!

So delicious! I had the shagshuka(might have spelled that wrong). Perfectly spiced not overly salted and the eggs were poached to just right. my friend had the hummus and falafel also recommended.

It’s right next to the trail for Montezuma waterfalls and on the edge of town. It’s a unique modern yet rustic interior.
The staff was very friendly and fast even though the place was full.
I had the ceviche which was delicious and my hubby had the felafel sandwich, which was tasty and pretty big.
You MUST try the lemon mint lemonade. It’s soooo delicious, it’s like a mojito without the rum, and so refreshing.
They had interesting sushi menu, but we didn’t have room to try it.
Overall one of the best options for food in Montezuma if you’re looking for something less traditional and healthy.

This place is such a fun little treat! It's definitely a mission to get to this restaurant , but once you get there you will forget the drive entirely. They have options for everyone including vegans & an array of cocktails. Everything was tastey and had a fresh & unique spin on their dishes.

Take the extra time and go find this place. It is off the beaten path but it is well worth it. Incredible atmosphere, fast hardworking chefs and waiters, the owner is courteous enough to come make sure your meal is good herself. Plus dishes from all over the world. On our table alone we had Mediterranean, Moroccan, tandoori, and ossubusco. So your meal could very well encompass the globe!!! Seriously, EAT HERE!!!!
