This is a small airport.

When we arrived, alighting the plane was quick. They used staircase cars on two exits for the passengers. Customs was fairly quick as well. As we are still in a pandemic, Cuba requires you to fill in a form online before your arrival. Someone checked that here before we went to customs. Afterwards, we went through baggage claim and exited the airport.

When we departed from the airport, someone was checking temperatures before we were allowed to enter the airport. We flew with Air Transat so the check in counter was processing the passengers fairly quickly. There was another airline here. The counter appeared to be extremely crowded and it didn't appear to be moving as fast.

Once past the check in and customs, there are duty free options here, many shops, a cigar shop and some fast food options. It is extremely hot here. The only air conditioning that appeared to be working was in the duty free shops and next to the fast food place. There is free Wi-Fi here but only for 30 minutes. We didn't get a chance to browse the shops before the announcement came that we were boarding. The announcement was hard to understand, but we heard the destination 'Toronto' and checked both gates.

Overall, for Cuba, this is a good airport. Could be better, but there are issues due to the pandemic that is out of their hands. If I applied North American standards, this airport would be more of a 3.5 or a 4. Giving it 5 because considering life in real Cuba, this airport is exceptional.

Small airport and yet very organized regardless of the environment. Staff are quick and well organized. Very hot hot hot, that’s what we love, baby!! A 20 minute flight to Cayo Coco. Hooray…. Beach

If you come to Cayo Coco I recommend that you purchase a Sim card which gives you a local number and 6 GB , 100 minutes local calling to use while on vacation. You can add more data yourself on line if necessary. Javier was very helpful, installed the Sim cards and phone was working in a couple of minutes. This end up costing approximately $50.00. Canadian with conversation. The shop is located across the luggage carousel. Our hotel has decent hotel throughout but the young adults will have access while outside the resort.

5 stars because there was alot of cats also note that there is not air conditioner so i recommend to bring a small fan or something that produces air so your not hot. Snacks at the snack bar is a little over priced because it is a poor country. but if you bring the supplies like a mini fan they also give free wifi but for 30 min usually slow cause so many people are connected to it. But over all the resorts are 5 stars LTE does work at the airport . I like it so 5 stars for a poor countries airport :)

A nice small airport. Service is good. Our time in and out was very enjoyable . Considering the small size they have approximately 12 shops and snack restaurants. Washrooms were implacably clean.

The people working here are so kind. They have to do their job, however, the kindness is always there.
I was in a redort for 2 weeks. I was recognized on my arrival because of my shoes, I have received many compliments, 2 weeks later, leaving the country, I was greated by the same person, with a smile, we had a small chat, it was a great, really great experience

Small airport, but nice souvenir shops and also place to eat. could not complain. At least it is close to the resort

Приехала первая на свой вылет. Без проблем прошла все процедуры, никаких вопросов не вызвала. Вежливый оператор на регистрации, на паспортном контроле, правда, не проставили печать в паспорт о выезде. Сувенирные магазинчики даже порадовали уникальными вещами, чего не нашла на Кайо-Коко. Кушать не рискнула. Ром запросто можно брать здесь. Цены от 5$ за ликер, от 23$ за ром. По прилету надо быть готовым к толпе на входе, т.к. пускают партиями и делают тест на корону.

Un petit mais un super aéroport. À part le contrôle des passeports qui est un peu lent, sinon tout est super.
Il y a des boutiques souvenirs et duty free ainsi que un mini restaurant dont la nourriture est très bonne et bien moins chère que celle à bord de l'avion. Viva Cuba.

Super lotnisko, dla wypoczywających na Cayo Coco, ponieważ obsługuje loty międzynarodowe i lokalne. Blisko do hoteli i Hawanę także fajnie zwiedzić samolotem lot trwa godzinę.

Bel aéroport, quand tu arrives du Québec et qu'il faisait -25°C et que tu descends directement sur le tarmac de l'aéroport et qu'il fait 25°C et que tu sens l'odeur et la brise du sud c'est magique 😛😊👌👍

Es un aeropuerto pequeño, pero con rápido movimiento, personal agradable, y un salon VIP acogedor he viajado en tres ocaciones y cada vez que puedo escojo este destino.
