Parador La Silla

This place is known for their pina coladas. It was so good and u can add rum if u want. Overall a super delicious pina colada. They even have a nice patio out in the middle of the water.

This place is named "the chair" because when they were building the causeway to link Cayo Coco to the mainland, someone's job was to sit in the chair and count the number of trucks. Apparently, the original La Silla was lost to a hurricane. Irma, I believe. This La Silla was rebuilt. The tour guide said we had to stop here because they make the best pina colada here. My wife watched how it was done. Apparently, they core the pineapple. Then they blend the pineapple with coconut milk in a blender and then filter the pulp out and pour it into the hollowed out pineapple. Afterwards, you can add however much rum as you want. Each drink costs $5. We didn't add any alcohol in ours as our 5 year old daughter wanted to try some as well. My wife thought the taste was very good. It reminded her of some fancy yogurt drinks.

$5 USD Pina coladas! My tour bus took me here. You can add your own rum! I don't drink so it was a nice verging Pina colada for me! Thry offer you pinapple and coconut. This place has cool swings and 3 huts to relax as well as a giant chair!

This is a great place to stop along on a long road. And get a delicious pina colada. Great views. Definitely worth the stop. Even if just to rest your feet and enjoy the view. So glad that I was able to stop here on my trip to Cuba.

Beautiful and breathtaking views. All natural pineapple Pina coladas are available in a pineapple and you can add your own rum to it for only 5 CUC. A must stop if visiting the town of Moron.

The best Pina colada you will ever have for 5 bucks and you pour your own rum !!!! The view is incredible and the service is really good. You will want 2 or 3 of these drinks so have a DD.

They serve you $5 virgin pina coladas in pineapples and they have rum bottles on top of the bar. You pour as little or as much rum as you’d like in your pina colada. It was definitely way better than the ones that I had at the resort.

Awesome Pina Colada place. The right way to make Pina Colada with or without alcohol. It's your choice if you want to add a variety of rum that they offer or just have your Pina Colada alcohol free. It's 5 CUC per drink, but it is well worth it. I personally had two and because they had extra mix in their mixer they filled me up a third one in the same pineapple for free. Clearly a place to stop by if you chose to leave the island.

YUMMY PINA COLADA!! Next time we travel to Cuba we will avoid the excursion. I plan to be fluent in Spanish, and my better half likes to travel on our own (I do too) instead of being herded around like cattle on a tour bus. We would love to integrate with the locals, and have more time to visit and talk, ...and have second of this delicious drink!
