Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria

This was the best Cuban resort experience I've had among several trips over the last few years. Excellent beach and pool, friendly and helpful staff, good facilities. You may occasionally need to breathe in the warm tropical breeze and be patient if you don't get everything you need instantly, and consider the conditions in which you are being hosted in this country. Special thanks to Lester who took care of reservations and any help we needed finding things. The beach and the pool were outstanding highlights.

We were a group of 8 travelling together for the first time to Cuba. We enjoyed our stay, and everything was great! Very happy about the experience for our first time in Cuba. The staff were all bilingual and very professional and friendly people. Special shout out to Diego who was our butler who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was pleasant and enjoyable. He was pleasant and was available to answer any questions or resolve any issues at hand. The beach is beautiful and the pool area was great! If you are looking for place to relax and spend time in the sun this is for you!

I received the best service from all the lovely staff. Special shout out to Louis in the sandwich bar, and Armando at the pool bar. Such kind people work here and will treat you like family. This was my first time at the report and already want to come back. The food selection was very good and had lots of fresh meals. I had a very clean and nice room in building 61 with hot showers the whole time. The most beautiful beach I ever laid eyes on. Lots of activities. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

Incredible trip! The resort is lovely. The Staff are very kind and do anything they can to make your stay wonderful. Only one day they ran out of beer and vodka but lots of other drinks available. The food was delicious! Lots of selection and presented so nice. A la Cartes were good as well! The only thing I'd like is more night shows. There was an incredible guitarist who played one night. Would love to see him as a regular entertainer. The rooms were decent and always cleaned very well. The beach is like heaven! Probably the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Aqua blue water and white powdery sand. I never had an issue with sand fleas but in the evening there are mosquitoes so bring bug spray.
I loved our time here and will definitely be back. There will always be a bad review here and there but I'm being completely honest...this resort is worth it.

Guys, we were having a great time here for sure. We are going to come back what people say about the place it was through. But anyways, we we don't care about it. The beach was amazing people are friendly and we love you on people. That's why we're going to come back next year.

We enjoyed our stay, and everything was great! Very happy about the experience for our first time in Cuba. Before coming here, we had lots of concerns about food and the quality of services, etc., but we were surprised that the food and drinks were really acceptable and above the average and good for resort types. The staff were all bilingual and very professional and friendly people.. This experience completely changed our minds about Cuba.. Lovely people and a beautiful country with the most pristine beaches ever in the world..

Myself, aunt, mom and sister just returned from the sanctuary at grand memories Santa Maria. We had an incredible time. The beach was second to none and the pools were beautiful. The rooms could use some updating BUT everything is very clean and the beds are super comfortable. I loved the layout and grounds of the resort! The best part of our visit was the people. The staff are amazing and lovely. I would like to specifically thank Richard and Odlanier for making our vacation so special. They were our butlers. We were in building 61 and both rooms had unbelievable views. Both Richard and Odlanier consistently went above and beyond to make sure our trip was special and I can not thank them enough. We hope to be back soon!

we are enjoy a week staying here. with lovely service people, nice beach and great view. Jany, Melisa, and big boss Ogledy they are wonderful people who provide best service in all.

I have absolutely loved everything about this resort. The service, the people, the pool, and the beach are the highlight of this visit. Irylis y ogledy are the best, they ensured to provide us with the best service possible. They were always open and welcoming to us! I truly recommend this resort.

AMAZING!

There is not enough words to express how I feel about The Sanctuary at Grand Memories. As a home away from home this location is welcoming with a stunning beach and beautiful views from the hotel rooms. The Pools are wonderful, with 2 levels and a swim up pool bar thats also accessible from a walkway. There are many stairways that may make it less wheelchair friendly, however we met some visitors who had walkers and were able to get around quite well.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and it is a great lively place with music, dancing and many activities. The staff at the dining rooms were amazing. Our Butler, Leidy was fantasic and super sweet, she was always very professional and ready to welcome you in any time of day. She always wore a smile and made our stay fantastic. She helped us book dinners and was there for anything we needed.

The FOOD
The food was spectacular! Well above my expectations. There was so much to choose from with amazing ripe fruits and multiple meat types as well as many veggie dishes, my personal favorite was the Roast Beef. There was a morning that they had a shortage of coffee, however that was fixed within an hour. One of the best Chefs is Yamil, who cooks right infront of you. Absolutely delicious food, a very clean space and a delightful young man.

There are also bars on the beach and around the resort perfect for grabbing a cooling drink or lemonade. My personal Favorite was the Iced Coffee made by Pedro in the Nativa Bar!

I recommend Sanctuary to anyone who wants a fun all inclusive relaxing getaway.

My wife and I had the most amazing time at this Adult only resort. We have been to Cuba many times and know what to expect, but this time, there were some amazing surprises from the staff. Leidy, our butler, was spectacular, to say the least! If it was not for her, our vacation would have been just ok. She decorated our room for my birthday and went over and beyond to make our stay the best. We can not thank you enough. Forever in our heart ❤

We came to this resort and had the best time. The resort itself was huge with so manh things to do.

THE ENTERTAINMENT STAFF WAS SO ANAZING!!
If it wasnt for SOTO & WADDY our time wouldn't have been as good as it was. They were so friendly, helpful, and most of all fun. Kept us dancing and smiling..most of all entertained.
It sometimes felt like we were bothering the front desk staff asking information but those two guys were always aroind if we needed assistance. Sancutuary is lucky to have them on their staff.

Our Butlers Dyana and Rodolfo were so helpful with anything we needed in oud rooms and inquiries we had concerning the resort which was great also.

The Beach Bartenders were always smiling kept us laughing and kept the drinks and delicious sandwhiches coming. They were also very helpful with events going on.

First time in Cuba. Sanctuary Grand Memories Santa Maria was a great choice. Beautiful beach, friendly staff, great tropical plants and trees. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Sanctuary Hotel for making our honeymoon a dream come true. The manager, Ulises, made sure our stay was absolutely special from the moment we made the reservation. His attention to the details and their warm welcome made us feel truly pampered.

Well I would like to say that I was pleasantly surprised. my expectations based on some reviews were really low and I was blown away with the experience. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was way above expectations...food for every type of apatite!!
service was exceptional. staff at every corner of this resort was top shelf!! and I don't need to say how incredible the beach was. AMAZING!!
