Memories Azul Beach Resort

Loved everything about it! There are food/drink shortages in Cuba, NOT the resort's fault... I can't wait to go back!

This was an amazing experience, best of my life

We go to this resort twice per year. The staff are awesome and recognize is when we arrive. We love to see the senior staff when we arrive each time and they make us feel right at home. We can't wait to return. We miss our friends in Cuba. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

2nd time there was better than the 1st. Very well kept grounds & great service. We heard of others having trouble with the hot water but our junior suite room was excellent... jacuzzi, walk in shower & seperate area for lounging. The housecleaning staff were great-friendly & always willing to help. Yanet, our maid, was amazing. The food was good but not great. Beaches in Cayo Santa Maria are beautiful, stunning in fact, and were so clean. We were close to a good size shopping area with lots of vendors. Pools were well kept & clean & lots of huts & lounging chairs. Lobby bar was a nice break mid day & had entertainment every night as well as the theater every evening. We would highly recommend this place to anyone & we definitely plan on returning next year. One week is not enough at this resort 😀

This is one of my favorite resorts yet. Mind you there isn't really a proper Cuban feel here, and you will have to venture to get a real taste of Cuba. As for the resort it was stellar. Great food, modestly comfortable rooms, great food, and that beach is well with the price of admission. You won't go wrong with this place.

Ive just had the most amazing 3 week holiday at this resort
1st the beach is beautiful and is a little piece of paradise. Its clean and u have the usual beach activites available. The hobby craft is a brilliant trip off tbe beach and you have pedalos windsurfing and canoe boats available to try.
The hotel is rustic and the grounds are taken care of with beautiful flowers and palm trees where ever you look.
The pools available are clean and well maintained
I was very happy with my room. I was supplied with drinks in my fridge daily and dressing gowns. I had fresh towels and my room was always cleaned to a high standard
I ate at all the a'la cart resturants and was never disappointed and the buffet had a huge choice of foods available. I had my chicken cooked fresh from the grill and pasta cooked then would add anything else i wanted.
The service from the staff is amazing abd any problems were sorted quickly (not that i had any)
As it was rainy season the mosquitos had a lovely lunch on us but a good repellent would distract them. And yes there are flys and insects but it you remember it is a tropical island and that you get flys anywhere you travel. How many times have you had to chase a fly in your own home!
There are shows in the theatre but not much night entertainment but if you fancy a disco or something different you can take a short walk up to the market. The market is not included ib the all inclusive package and you pay for any services and food and drink but its very reasonably priced
Overall. I have had the most amazing holiday with memories and look forward to returning

Just came back from 7 days, it's was my 3 time in Cuba and this is one of the most beautiful place I never Sean. The staffs are amazing and care about you. Room service awesome food great I have nothing to complains about just amazing time and I will defenely go back soon and for people who as kids the daycare is clean and staf are very good whit kids.

Amazing staff and beautiful beach and resort! Little things can be fixed up like the nudity on the beach specifically in areas where there are children and families. A larger sign explaining this is not permitted would be a good start to fixing that issue. Other then that everything was so great! I also think the staff working outside should always be wearing sunglasses and working in comfortable attire for the long durations of their shifts. That is always something good to keep in mind. Happy employees = a great resort!

We've enjoyed our 3rd (2016, 2017, 2018) staying at Memories Paraiso from 18th to 25th February 2018. Despite the hurricane who affected some bungalows, closed now, the conditions are good. We appreciated the cleanliness everywhere on the resort and on the beach. There are entertainment every day at the pool, on the beach, spectacles at the théâtre every night and music bands at the lobby.
Good service at the lobby bar, fast and professional, especially by Yaimi. I'd like to mention Julio who's doing am excellent cleanup in rooms at Bungalow 35 :)
The management is client-oriented, Hector listens the guests at the buffet to improve the service quality. There are surveys too, for the same purpose.
Overall, we are very satisfied and we'll be back next year !

Beautiful beach wonderful staff. But food was ok but this is Cuba and you go there for the beach not the food. The room was clean and the room service staff was very attentive. I would return but would go to the Memories Sanctuary which is next to it.

Very nice place. Very big, but fortunately you could get anywhere on foot or by electric cars :-). We didn't use them. Food in restaurants was very tasty and there was very big choice of dishes. Rooms are very clean and quite big. Beach was also very clean.
The only thing was a lots of mosquitos, but this is not hotel's fault. Take repellent with you.

This is my second time going to cayo Santa maria with my mom . I truly love it . Everyone in the resort was so kinda and funny and it was a amazing , and Andy the one who work at the deck he was super amazing person , he also made sure i always had everything i needed on my trip , made me feel like home ....

Personally this resort was amazing, I have never had such good treatment from staff and management at a resort, truly I was treated like royalty, very kind hearted people and a beautiful resort, excellent entertainment, food and the pool and beach was very clean and gorgeous, definitely will be coming back many times.

This was my 3rd time in Cuba and first time in Santa Clara. I went with my family to celebrate new eve. The night was unique and the stuff is very gentle. I am looking forward for next time.

Really amazing people work in this resort!! Beach is 10 start! White sand and cristal clear blue water!! I been here 3 times already and looking forward to my 4th. ❤

This resort is the best in South America. I always go there. They have a very good food, beach and great staff members. 5 stars. :)

Restaurants and hotels were Clean and people very polite. Food was good and a lot of choices. The beach was fantastic. Trips also very interesting.nice entertainment and free drinks

I stayed there last October and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and the staff was fantastic as was the food. I am booked to return there again this October.

Really nice place for families and also for those who enjoy spending their holidays in peace with a wonderful view. The staff is nice, they helped me to find anything easily, I had a great time there !
