Ristorante El Sueño

This place is amazing on every level. So good we ate here every day for five straight days. First, I am very picky about pizza, but this exceed my expectations. Fantastic. Love the sauce.

Usually, when I find a place I like I order the same thing every time. Not so here. One night we split the seafood risotto and the gnocchi bolognese. Both were outstanding. Probably the best risotto we’ve ever had. Generous portions of seafood too.

The spinach ravioli and spaghetti pomodoro were both great. Tomorrow, I’ll most likely get the pesto pasta.

Oh, I should also mention the complimentary bruschetta. Outstanding.

But the best part is the wonderful atmosphere and camaraderie among the team and the family who own the restaurant. The mother, who came to DR 32 years ago from Italy, still cooks and is absolutely passionate about the food and service. Watching one of the team members give a huge hug to the grandmother tonight reinforced what we’ve seen all week—these are people who care about each other as much as they care about what they do. Highly recommend.

I've been coming to Juan Dolio for a few years and I've watched other restaurants get worse over time. This place has only gotten better. Everything is consistently fresh. The prices are reasonable. Close to the beach.

Food is very good, good variety, fresh. Staff is friendly. They had homemade Limoncello and an Amaro, nice way to finish a very good dinner.

Good food, decent priced. Real good service for the DR and the boss even helped to get a ride back to the hotel.

Romantic place for dinner

Fantastic Pizza place if you are in Juan Dolió beach DR. The chocolate ice cream was awesome it came on a cocoa pod . Delicioso!

Was vacationing in my beautiful Quisqueya during Christmas break. Had visited this restaurant many years ago. Their renovation looks amazing and their food and service continues to be 1st class. Owner Rudy welcomed us with open arms and server Santiago was wonderful with food recommendations and drinks. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend this place!

I absolutely loved this place! I went with my husband and 2 year old last night. I had the Broccoli with Lemon and Olive Oil, Spinach and Ricotta Raviolis with the Salsa El Sueño. My husband had Tostones and Salami Pizza. They provided a toast with a delicious tomato and garlic topping before our food came out.

Everything was so delicious and the quality was amazing. The service was also the best. Our Server was so nice!

We were staying at Las Olas for a week (10.28.2022 thru 11.03.2022) and we stop by El Sueño “an Italian restaurant by the beach” who can imagine.. this is the real thing, it’s a little Italy by the beach. The food was incredible, service was awesome and the cleanest was impeccable. Prices very reasonable and the owner took the time and came to our table to make sure everything was good. They even offer delivery services.

We go again on 31 December for the BIG FIESTA

The place is great. Most of the times the owner greets you from the Karaoke when he has the time while singing.

The food is great and the waiters are extremely friendly.

I visited them 2 days ago and they had a cat and kitten who walks among the tables to be pet while the kitten is playing around with kids. You'll love this place if you are a pet person and like food in an open air scenario.

Beautiful place and the staff is extremely warm and welcoming, if you’re passing by and like Italian cousine this is a must try…

Best restaurant in Juan Dolio. Best service of any restaurants I have been to.

As a large group at the beach, we made a reservation a few hours prior. We arrived just before sunset. The view was incredible. We all had pizza. Pie after pie came. We took what we liked. Very good thin crust. We drank soda, but wine was available.

Delicious food. Quad lingual menu leans heavily toward Italian cuisine. Dominican essentials available. Great view of Caribbean from indoor outdoor dining area. Full bar. Accepts cards

We ate here with a party of 42 and we got exceptional service and great food! We had 20 pizza's, and 2 special meals and they were all delicious. We will be coming back next year.

Great Food, Service, and People. We came with a group of 12 individuals and we had some birthdays in the group. The staff brought out Flan for the birth individuals. Wow, that how you do it!!!!

The best risotto I had in my life , I have to go there every time I visit Dominican Republic ..amazing food and very good service right on front of the beach ...love it "El sueño ristorante"

Lovely staff, excellent food, and the deserts are amazing. Perfect to go with anyone, friends, family or your partner.
