Joha is owner/operator and an excellent hostess, making you feel right at home. Her two dogs, a doberman and a mutt, are equally friendly.
Waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach and fishermen launching their boats for the early catch is a plus at no extra charge.

Outstanding. The place, the view, the rooms, the breakfast, just everything. Omg. Great great great. Note : you are not in a luxury Hilton or Vanderbilt hotel. You are in a island 🏝 away from the city. And this is amazing place. I went with my family and the experience is amazing.

It is a family business operated by husband and wife. The rooms are well kept and extremely clean. The backyard is the beach which lead to beautiful sunset and sunrises. Breakfast is delicious.

A very good located and special place :) we loved our stay here. The breakfast is really good. When you go to the beach go left there is no trash and the water is very nice. With a bus 10 minutes to San Raffael and 15 to central Barahona.

Jonathan was such an amazing host, & went out of his way to help get us whatever we wanted or needed!
He sent someone out to get all of us some food and gave us great local recommendations for beaches and other cool places to explore..
He even arranged for us to have a huge bonfire on the beach, at our request (which was on my bucket list and meant so much to me)! 🔥It was great getting to know him as well, he's a great guy with a hospitable heart who genuinely cares for others. ❤

The hotel itself could use some updates and has TONS of potential with a large building with architecture like that (right on the beach, too!), even though it wasn't fancy, it was clean and we had everything we needed.
When you walk out of the building in the back, you can catch the sunrise early in the morning, right there on the beach...it was perfect & beautiful! We took a walk for a few minutes and even got to see a local fisherman catch a puffer fish🐡
The breakfast in the morning was homecooked, with fresh fruit and coffee☕🍍🥭

Overall, it was a great experience and we were all happy with our stay and would DEFINITELY come back if back in the area! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent Hotel

Hotel semplice ma dotato di ogni comfort.
Parcheggio ampio e sicuro. Ubicato proprio sulla spiaggia, con albe mozzafiato. Colazione abbondante e varia. Prezzi onesti. Personale cordiale ed attento. La figlia della proprietaria parla benissimo italiano.

Un super moment en famille sur la route du retour pour Santo domingo. Chambres spacieuse et propres
Eau chaude. Piscine et espace bien entretenu. super petit déjeuner inclus! Endroit très calme. Proche de barahona. Ne pas hésiter !

Pasamos una noche mi familia y yo, 4 personas. Elegimos la habitación con dos camas dobles con vistas a la piscina y el mar. Disfrutamos de un amanecer precioso y de un paseo por la orilla del mar.
Joa, la dueña del Hotel es una persona muy amable, estuvo atenta en todo momento.
La reserva de habitación incluye un desayuno completo muy bueno.
Tambien puedes dejar el carro aparcado con seguridad.
Todo perfecto, muy recomendable 😊

Me gusta mucho, si vas a Barahona y necesitas un hotel para ir a dormir y desayunar es excelente, tranquilo y está la lado de la playa el Quemaito.

Excelente lugar cuando estás de vacaciones en Barahona o zonas aledañas, habitaciones limpias, servicio excepcional, frente a la playa, tiene piscina y es muy tranquilo. Incluye desayuno muy rico.
