Hotel El Quemaito

The rooms are very nice. The View is gorgeous. The pool is small but nice. No hot tub unfortunately. Minibar is only water. Alcohol is a little watered down to me. No beach. Go up to San Raphael Beach, it's really pretty.( No sand. Only rocks. ) Hour trip north west to the magnetic pole was really cool :) Good food ;) I recommend this place to stay. Very relaxing. ;)

Very nice hotel. Thought I was at a chain resort. Great view and good price. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Definitely a stop when I’m Barahona. Don’t forget to also walk to the beach ‘El Quemaito’ beautiful sunset.

A hidden gem in the south west of the Dominican Republic. We felt right at home from the check in. Lovely place, very cozy, great food, nice pool. But the highlight is the view from the place. It’s very clean, comfortable beds, air conditioned rooms. Pet friendly, ample parking.
I’ve stayed in this hotel six times doe work and I returned for my family vacation. Will definitely be coming back.

A+++. I looked for a place to explore the South and rest at night. I picked the perfect place. Small enough that you feel like you are in private home. Very comfortable bed, modern AC, georgeous sea views, no a single mosquito in my entire stay, inside or outside, clean place, and very good restaurant. The squash soup is the best I ever had. The fish was fresh. All of this at very reasonable prices. Plus and most important, the owner himself is at the property saying hi morning and night, and asking you if things are ok. What could possibly go wrong with someone that has his way of living personally making sure that things are ok. I had a great time discovering Bahia de la Aguilas and Sendero de la Virgen, must see places in your lifetime, and this place made it happened. All the best to this nice hotel. It offers an exiting, economical way to discover DR, different than the all inclusive resorts most are familiar with.

Beautiful hotel great food and view, I meet the owner and the manager(Dani) great person very nice they make me feel like home. The bar attended( bruno) was excellent and with amazing hospitality.
If you guys is looking a place to relax on the pool and beach el quemaito is the place, the boricua

The rooms were airy and plain, but the grounds, pool and French food were great. Not too many places to stay in this area. So I recommend it.

Omggg excelent service. Veey clean.. They have a killer paella and shrimp in garlic sauce not to mention their "pechurinas" chicken nuggets are great.

No me arrepiento de haberlo seleccionado, fuimos con un pequeño grupo a principio de febrero y fue espectacular. Las habitaciones estaban limpias, muy cómodas y el personal fue increíble. Se esforzaron al máximo para que nuestra estancia fuera agradable. Recomiendo este hotel a cualquiera que visite Barahona y Bahía de las Águilas en Pedernales. El desayuno para mi gusto excelente sin desperdicio.

Jolie Hotel géré par deux français bien sympathiques. Une belle vue sur l’océan. Restaurant sur place, ainsi qu’un petit déjeuner bon et copieux. Bien placé pour visiter le lac Enriquillo et la plage Las Aguillas. Une plage se situe à côté de l’hôtel.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr gepflegt, mit Pool und kleinen Plätzchen zum verweilen, die Zimmer und die Größe überzeugen, hier habe ich mich wohl gefühlt und super gut geschlafen. Die Zimmer sind mit TV, Internet (etwas langsam) und einem kleinen Kühlschrank ausgestattet.
