Balneario La Plaza

Amazing place, little bit of a walk but it is worth it!. I wish all those names wouldn't be in the rocks but sadly there is no education on how to take care of nature. Also I don't know what is wrong with people if you bring your garbage bring it back with you don't leave it in such a beautiful place.

Place is awesome, I went there with local tour guide! We did a picnic there as well. Water is super clean in that place and u can swimming over there. There is no dangerous animals. I did whole way with flip flops 🩴 but it’s better to have a proper hiking sandals, cause you might to cross river several times.

This is easily the most beautiful river trekking experience I've ever been to and cannot wait to do it again multiple times.

Suggest find a local guide...i found a trust person in the petrol station,you can ask there....40 min with the car and other 1 hour walking to approach the last river..i recommend this place!!

An incredible place. We did not book a guide and tried to walk there by ourselves. This was not a good idea since it is very hard to find the way. We were just about to give up and return when we met a group going up there who kindly let us go with them. Oh and when we got back to our car the window was broken and all of our things were gone. But the place itself was gorgeous and one of the highlights of our trip.

Amazing place but not very safe. You need a good guide and park a car paying 200 DOP for "parking guards". We have seen robbed car there with broken window. Turist police should do something about this. Anyway worth to go three!

Best river I ever been in DR. Jamao has nice rivers too…only thing is all the trash humans leave behind. You will find it everywhere…lots of plastics.

One of the more beautiful places ever seen in the south part of the Dominican republic , this hidden gem , has all the way several gorgeous puddles that makes this trail and river one of the most clean and transparent around , can't complain at all, don't forget to take a look at the delicious tasteful local food around

Es una joya de nuestro país, hermoso lugar aguas azules y cristalina, para llegar a sus balnearios hay que hacer senderismo pero es genial.

La pasé muy bien. Este es un excelente lugar si te gusta aventurar y hacer cosas diferentes. Recuerda ir con sapatos cómodos para caminar y que los puedas mojar. Si vas en grupo solo nesecitan una cámara o un teléfono para hacer fotos y vídeos. No lleves prendas ni cosas de valor. Solo lleva aperitivos en una mochila que se pueda mojar. Mientras menos cosas lleves mejor porque hay que caminar mucho. Si te da sed puedes tomar el agua del río,yo me la tomé y creo que es el agua más natural que yo he probado en mi vida. 👍

POR FAVOR SI VAS NO LLEVES BASURA, SI LO HACES QUE REGRESE CONTIGO.

El acceso es difícil, antes de empezar a caminar tienes que subirte en un camión por media hora o ir en un vehículo 4x4, recomiendo la primera ya que es la mas segura, estos lugares es mejor visitarlos con la compañía de un guía local. Tendrás que caminar por una hora y 10 minutos aproximadamente, pasaras por diferentes charcos en todo el trayecto, DEBES TENER MUCHO CUIDADO CON LA PRINGAMOSA, por eso es muy recomendable ir con un guía local.

Posto bellissimo immerso nella foresta. Necessario recarsi con una guida perché la strada è difficile da trovare essendoci diversi passaggi in cui si deve attraversare il fiume. Inoltre per raggiungere l’inizio del sentiero serve un fuoristrada.
Consiglio assolutamente di andare se si ha la possibilità. L’acqua è fresca e cristallina.

Mágico lugar, agua cristalina, frío pero hermoso, se recomienda vehículo 4x4, guía, no se llega si un guía al menos que ya conociera bien lugar, no se arriesgue en vehículo sencillo no va a llegar lejos.

Me encantó esta aventura, creo que todo al que le guste la naturaleza debería visitarlo💯👌

Es un hermoso lugar, preferiblemente les recomiendo visitarlo día de semana para que puedan aprovecharlo al máximo y hacer bonitas fotos (lo ideal es ir con un guía, ya que el balneario está a más o menos 1 hora caminando)

Un lugar magico, increible, agua refrescantes, cristalinas.

Para llegar es toda una travesía pero cuando llegas y te encuentras con este paraíso te olvidas de todo , un lugar verdaderamente único y especial
