I went for a day and stayed for two. The abundance of pools in varying temperatures were nice to choose from. Try the pressure showers under the patio! The entire resort, spa, hotel, food, and employees are all worth another stay. The breakfast buffet was incredible, and dinner was the same. The floral and fauna were amazing! I wish I had taken more pictures but was too busy melting in bliss.

I did go back on the weekend, and it was busy. I'll spare the metaphors, but I paid, walked in, walked around, walked out, and asked for my money back. There was no hesitation. Love this place, and I can't wait to be back in those healing waters!

Gorgeous hot springs in a picturesque setting. Surrounded by lush forested mountains, a serene experience is guaranteed. Really nice facility, very clean, well laid out, and well maintained.
The water is not as mineralized as some hot springs (a more funky and pungent outburst is always appreciated!) However this experience was wonderful, therapeutic, and top-notch all the way.

I was surprised by the organization and cleanliness of the place. Nice facilities, in general. There is a restaurant inside, nd prices are very reasonable. There are several hot spring pools that you can choose from, as well as covered areas with tables and chairs to protect people from rain. The views are spectacular. Excelent place for relaxing.

We had a great time visiting the hot springs.

My friends and I got passes because we stayed at the hotel that’s right next to the hot springs park so it was the best bang for your buck!

The best thing about visiting papallacta hot springs was the amazing views of all the mountains and volcanos near by! It’s breathtaking and really makes the environment much more intriguing.

I’d recommend to dipping in the cold pools first then jump into the hot ones for some excitement!

Loved this place. Gorgeous grounds and relaxing thermal waters with views of the mountains. As the day comes to an end and the temp drops gets even more magical. We arrived at around noon and grabbed lunch at the restaurant next to the hotel for an authentic experience, it is right next to it so no need for a car (the food is good, inexpensive and very large portions are served). At around 1pm our room, 45, was ready and the kids jumped into the water right away. My hubby and I on the other hand took a stroll around the grounds and did the free trail. After walking the trail to point 15 we came back to the resort. Walking to point 15 gives you views of waterfalls.
We enjoyed the thermal pools til about 530 then got ready for dinner inside the hotel, which was delicious. The restaurant opens at 630pm.
Note: We stayed in our pool area as the public area was fairly crowded. We were here on a Fri. The hotel has strong wifi.
Update: on the morning of check out my youngest was feeling ill. We informed the reception and they quickly sent in a medical professional to our room. Our child was seen and was provided with something to make her feel better - this service was complimentary. This level of service raised the bar to a 6 star 😀

Gorgeous spot, and so hot and well maintained! You can rent towels there if needed. Entrance was only $10, which was great given how expansive the hot springs were, and nice additions like having dressing rooms and showers.

Omg these hot springs were awesome. It’s pretty known place that you should definitely visit and enjoy. While having a relaxing hot bath you can watch many kinds of birds flying around. Magical place that has a very special atmosphere in the evening.

We had a great time at this hot springs. Perfect way to spend some hours and leave feeling like a new person. Your kids will love it!. It is fun been at the hot springs and see llamas eating in the surrounded mountains. You can eat at their restaurant if you want to extend your stay some extra hours.

What a great place for a day out, super relaxing and tranquil. I can not recommend highly enough. One thing I would say, we went on a cloudy day but still came home with sunburn. Wear sun screen. even if it's cloudy. We paid around $99 for the day including the pools, towels, hats and a small snack & coffee. The drive there from Cumbaya is epic!

Honestly one of my favorite places in the world. Spa is great. Hotel it great. Restaurant is awesome (I recommend one of the trout options and the guanábana smoothie)

The river hike is serene to say the least

This was the best hot spring I visited in Ecuador. Everything is well maintained, and for just $10 you have access to over 10 pools. The surroundings are very scenic, it is located steps away from a national park.

Really clean and beautiful. We tried the spa side. The $23 entry fee included locker, towel and swim cap. Five pools, four warm to hot and one small one the temperature of Pluto. Uber from Quito was $31, Taxi back was $50.

Beautiful place. Hotel, spa, cabins, restaurant or just a day pass to the springs. Everything I want in such a place/experience. Catch a glimpse of hummingbirds as you switch to the cold dip. Splendid.

Lying in a hot spa looking at the shroud of fog covering the Andes was a surreal experience and I just laid there with a silly grin on my face. Definitely worth the money, the service is extraordinary and the grounds are well maintained.

Lovely place.
We spent a couple hours in the public pools then headed to the spa for a massage.
The massage was phenomenal, truly an experience to try.
