PLAZA EL JARDÍN GALÁPAGOS

We came here on our last night on the island and the meal did not disappoint. If you are looking for high quality food for a decent price this is the place. Alexis was our waiter and he was very kind, helpful and patient with us when we couldn’t decide what to order. In the end we ended up getting the seafood platter and Philadelphia special sushi roll which was absolutely amazing, very fresh and high quality. This platter can definitely feed two people. Everything from the music of this restaurant to the food to the service was astounding. Definitely a must visit.

Really good food. A little pricey but worth every penny. They have a live DJ there and they do karaoke some late nights. Very nice decor for pictures and a great place to celebrate a birthday.

The food here is amazing. I enjoyed the fish (red tuna) so much that I didn’t want to finish it. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it considering the quality of the food. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food came pretty quickly. Definitely recommended!

An outstanding dinner experience! Upon arriving in Santa Cruz, we (a young couple) filtered the nearby restaurants on Google and to my girlfriend’s credit she chose El Jardín. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mario, a charming yet professional and attentive waiter who catered for our lacking of Spanish language with little to no effort.
Now the menu was not as advertised on the Google page, but to our delight, what was little more of an upper price differential, turned out to be a bargain for the quality and quantity of cuisine we were served.
Our early dinner date time (5pm - 7pm) also made us eligible for the 2 for 1 happy hour (recommending the fruitilla margarita) which was an added bonus.
Our entre, a sashimi style plate of various fish and octopus tasted like it was caught that day.
Our mains, the sirloin steak, and the ribs, were succulent and delicious, the type of quality you’d expect from a 5 star establishment.
We could not recomend the venue more, and could not commend the service from Mario any higher.

We only stopped here for a coffee since we haven’t had many choices and I have to say that it was amazing. It was around 11 o’clock and not sure if they were open as we were the only ones there. The waiter said they were open. Service was good and the coffee delicious.

We had both lunch and dinner here. Service is a bit slow but relaxed and the food is great. I reccomend the risotto!

My friend and I had the vegan pizzas which were delishious but quite small. We also had the pisco sour and pina coladas. These were great and even better with happy hour. Service was quick on a Saturday night (despite what other reviews said)

Very nice place to have a tasty dinner. You get a variety of food from fish, to meat and vegetarian. The naturel juices are great. There is also always lovely music, either a DJ or live. Recommendation!

Great cocktails and the tomahawk steak was amazing, but a bit tough...the grilled chicken with rice side was also really good and my wife LOVED the tuna steak (got it twice). Food bumped to 5 stars because of a free, unexpected tuna appetizer. Service was a bit slow...great view and location, but I would prefer traditional Ecuadorian/Galapagueno music vs Harry Styles 🤢🤣

Excellent customer service. Pina colada was great. Not Too sweet tasted very natural. Scorpion fish was great. Mixed seafood and steak kebabs were great. So was the shrimp appatizer.

Nice food and a bit expensive. Stuff is really polite. My boyfriend ordered a trilogía and I got the curried quinoa, both delicious. We went back for the locro de papa/ potato soup and it was perfect for a chilly night. I really recommend this restaurant with a great view and even some desserts! The menu I add is updated!

Pizza is delicious and personal size can shared. Mine was "4 stagione", mozzarella, mushrooms and fresh veggies (pic). Jordan rocks the bar and makes quality drinks! The smoothies are tasty and fruity. The service is fast and really good. The menu offers an array of dishes from pizza and pasta to soup and burgers; so the basics are more than well covered.
The staff speaks English and is friendly and fast.

Delicious seafood platter that is actually way too big for 2 people unless you have been fasting all day! Their fresh juices were also delicious. Best calamari I've ever eaten.

The best food we had in Galapagos. The tuna was amazing! Looks super touristy but the food is very good and prices aren't too awful, on par with the rest around.

Great atmosphere, great location, amazing food selections for Porto Ayora. From Pizza to Fish and Paninis to Beef. All organic ingredients. Pizzas were very tasty as were the amazing drinks. They offer 4 drinks 2x1 all day every day. Service was good and all staff spoke excellent English. Highly recommend. Not fine dining but a very high quality establishment.

Delicious meal, wonderful wait staff and a picturesque seat. We enjoyed the wide variety on the menu, including vegan and GF choices. The menu clearly identifies what allergens are contained in each meal as well. We really enjoyed a late lunch here.
