1835 Restaurant & Coffee

We had dinner here, and it was so good we went back for coffee and again to get dessert. The prawns wrapped in bacon starter was spectacularly good - well cooked and with a delicious glaze. The charcoal infused burgers were a bit more of a gimmick, and I wish I'd ordered something else (everything else coming out looked amazing), but it was still very tasty.
I had a really good flat white, probably the best I had in Galapagos.
And the desserts were also worth it - we had the Volcano chocolate eruption and La Tri.

My favorite restaurant in town. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Everything was so good. Staff was very nice and attentive. Great ambiance to work remotely in too (if you have to), while watching people stroll by in the street.

I love the atmosphere here! The food was delicious. A little slow on the day with getting the menu and drink orders done but overall highly recommend a visit.

Wow - passion on a plate. We had an amazing dinner with everything we wished for! Great food, super friendly and attentive staff and a cute restaurant. We can defenitely recommend this place to all food-lovers. It was phenomenal!

Very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere, great service and a really nice menu.

The prices were a little higher, but good in comparison to many other restaurants on Santa Cruz.

This is by far the best restaurant we have found on the island. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, Every plate is gorgeous and delicious. The fruit shakes, chocolate, milk, coffee, these guys get the job done. The only problem with this restaurant is that it’s too far from home😜

Delicious! I ate here twice during my time on Santa Cruz. I tried 4 different dishes and all were fresh and delicious. My favorite thing was the green energy smoothie. The open air dining is so refreshing in the morning and the servers were all so kind.

I didn't try the food, but the iced mocha ☕ was delicious. We also purchased a bag of coffee, which was expertly grounded for optimal brewing for my friend's coffee machine back home. Overall, a great experience!

This was our favorite restaurant on this Island! Loved the food here so much. They have amazing coffee and everything we tried on their menu, we loved. We got to meet the new executive chef here which was nice. We loved the Tigrillo the most!

Been there with my family 2 times for dinner and once for breakfast. We enjoyed the quality of the food and the service. The location was ideal for shopping after our meal. At dinner, our preferred meals were the ceviche, tuna tartare and avocado toast with tomatoes for breakfast.

Definitely need to check out this coffee shop if you want a craft experience in Puerto Ayora. I had an espresso "Darwin" which I guess is basically a quad shot from a single pull. Thought it might taste bitter but it was really tasty. I had one of their many avocado toast, would recommend. The bacon was salty and delicious! Will be coming back here

First impression was how the place looks like 😍 fruit shakes are super delicious and refreshing! Foods are so fresh and super tasty as well! coffee is great too!

If you are looking for meals that are fresh and light, this is definitely one of the places to visit. I had 4 or 5 meals here over my week in Puerto Ayora and they were all delicious! I appreciated the add-on option for the fresh daily juice. They are also open at 7am so you can stop by for an early breakfast before your flight or other tours if needed :)

Excellent service! Our waiter was super friendly and sweet. I had the seafood ceviche - delicious. Iced Coffee was great too. Prices are what you’d expect for this street.

Best coffee on Santa Cruz! Came here every morning of my holiday and ordered a double shot soy latte (if you like the taste of coffee I would recommend getting a strong one here). I also had the waffles and pancakes on separate mornings and the chickpea burger. Great coffee, great service and great food.

Great breakfast options and excellent coffee, and good wifi.

Finally a great coffee place - they take coffee seriously!!! A nice reprieve from instant coffee in a bright environment close to town. The meals are delicious, wifi is stronger in comparison to other places, open early, and a clean bathroom. Not a place to work as there is limited seating.

Good American-like breakfast if you get the fried eggs with bacon, hash brown circles and a side croissant. Good juices as well.

Good looking dinner menu but didn’t have a chance to try it out.

The oatmeal waffles were great, and the portion size is big.
The service was a bit slow but typical for a Galapagos restaurant.
