Hotel El Faro

This place was really impressive. The rooms are more on the modern side vs cabanas but the layout is friendly and very social kinda like a resort. It has a restaurant right in front of the beach and everyone gathers to see the sunset and to take pictures. Love it as the “resort” type of beach vibe vacation but I’d still choose Villa Nonna hands down over this place.

We visited using the day pass and it was an amazing experience! For only 100 quetzales you get full access to the amazing pool and your own little private area to be with your family. Right on the beautiful black sand beach and amazing food and drinks. 10/10 would highly recommend.

This hotel was wonderful. We traveled with 3 small kids. The room was air conditioned, beds were firm but comfortable. TV available with satelite channels the kids enjoyed. We spent 2 nights and soaked up lots of time in the beautiful pool with ample shallow water for the small kids and a full bar at the pool side with stools that make it not necessary to get out of the pool. There were also plenty of fountain features making the pool even more fun. Plenty of lounge chairs to rest next to the pool. The rooms and property are very well maintained, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. All of the rooms face the pool, and out to the beach. There is a restaurant the serves amazing dishes and beverages. I would love to return again.

Great location. Food is pricey, considering the price you pay to stay there for a night or more. Something as a family we enjoy is the kids pool section. Having a 2 year old makes my life so much easier

Beautiful views from beachside at this place. Clean heated pool leading to the great ocean with toasty black sands, they have a very good resturant there aswell with great service and food. Will definitely go again.

The view from the restaruant is incredible. It is a bit pricey as other reviewers say compared to other options in the area, but overall it's a place I'd definitely visit again.

Really great place. Hotel just opened, has aa huge pool and rooms are very comfy. Restaurant has flavorfull plates.

This place is AMAZING, the Service is Beyond Premier and the food is Excellent. Definitely a place to visit over and over.
