Loved our stay here, the pool and grounds are amazing but what really makes the place is the service. Every member of staff is welcoming, smiling and always helpful. Can't recommend it highly enough.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful as well as patient with our poor Spanish. Clean facilities, nice pool/beach and good location. Would come back for sure!

A friend and I came here for a weekend from Antigua and we both really enjoyed it! It’s right on the beach and you have awesome views from pretty much anywhere in the hotel, including the restaurant. They also have a lovely pool area across the street, complete with hammocks and chairs. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, and gave us recommendations on what to eat. The two meals we had in their restaurant were great, particularly the Pacifico fish dish, their in-house special. Highly recommend Cafe del Sol for a quick getaway!

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel! Not only was the location great, but especially the incredibly nice and hospitable staff create an unforgettable experience in this beautiful coastal village! Definitely a recommendation to future visitors to monterrico!

Went there Christmas 2013 with a big group of my family and it was amazing! The service, the staff, the food everything super clean. Everybody very attentive and the owners were super nice people.

we were guest for six days in the pre-season (second week in october). the ratio of quality to price is hard to beat. we had direct view to the beach from our room, unbelievable nice staff, the kitchen opened only for us (because we were alone, the best thing you can imagine) the same with the pool. only a few minutes walk to release baby turtles and also to join guides to rescue turtles eggs for incubation. also a tour to the swamps is easy organized by cafe del sol. anyhow they will help you with every topic. it was a big pleasure and luck to have this great location for us. thx a lot.

Great Hotel, I think it would be between 2 and 3 stars, my room had A/C no TV. Nice and big pool. Excellent service, specially Kevin he made a terrific job!!
