Lovely restaurant with a great little terrace, not a bad choice for vegetarians too as there were various salads, a beetroot risotto, pizzas. Friendly service. We loved the warm little bread rolls that came along with the meal too. Nice beer selection including a really good alcohol free one.

Nice lunch of fish and fusilli with chicken in a gorgonzola sauce. Both very good. Service was friendly and efficient

The best food in Slano.

From the crispy bread, the lovely Burrata to the mouth watering pasta. Slano is actually for pasta lovers.

The lamb was well seasoned. The burger was decent. I love caramelised onions. The chips were just okay.

Service was really good. We ate indoors so no stray cats this time.
Air conditioning is available for those hot summer nights.

Great view over the mountains and a beautiful large garden at the back, made us feel like we were having a private dining experience. Fresh sea food and amazing pizza, with delicious local deserts, recommend trying the poached pears. Staff was friendly and very attentive.

Fantastic early evening meal here… beautiful decor/surrounding garden and lovely service. I had a warm appetiser (beetroot risotto 11€) as a main meal because I couldn’t see any rice/pastas on the main menu. The portion was plenty for a main meal & I really enjoyed it. Partner enjoyed the mixed grill (14.50€) which he said tasted great and wasn’t overly fatty. Would absolutely return here if we had more time, beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. The two ginger cats were a fab addition too. We spent roughly 40 euros on two drinks and two mains and paid a couple of euros for parking across the street.

Food here was outstanding. We had lamb shank, fish filet (grilled), lamb chops and squid risotto, the cold platter & grilled vegetables. Everything was so fresh. The lamb shank, a dish I prepare and am personally known for at home, was exceptional - the shank was extremely fresh (not a hint of gaminess). The tomato sauce that went with the shank was subtly flavored to complement the lamb - superb - and the potatoes were done with the same herb for thematic consistency. The fish was fresh and grilled just right to yield a succulent consistency. The squid risotto did not stand up by comparison - it was "merely" competent. Even the grilled vegetables were done very well, with fresh olive oil. Oh, the pear hard cider (Somersby) was just great also, subtly sweet & not over-powering. We felt we'd won a prize eating here, what with the reasonable prices.

Excellent food and personal service. First time we visited. We had spagetti with seafood.

We stopped off at Maestral on our way back from a day in Dubrovnik. Food was very good, the grilled squid with swiss chard and potatoes is pictured below. My husband had a pizza and it was delicious too. It was great value for money. The rest rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We will be going back 😊

The food was very good. The wait time was not long. Staff is kind and helpful. The meat was done just the way I asked for it. First we sat outside, but there were so many mosquitos we had to move inside.

There is a wide variety of dishes to choose. I recommend fresh sea fish- heaven in my mouth!
I like that waiter cleans it for you and serves it to your plate 🤩 Also seafood and Meat plate are very good. They have very good local wine of Croatia,I love it 😍!

Excellent food, staff is friendly and recommended what to eat, what was fresh and down right perfectly made. Been at the 5 star hotel across the restaurant and the food here is better than at the hotel. Very correctly priced and highly recommended.

What a find! So peaceful and calm here. Ate outside in garden area. Beautiful setting. Menu great, food delicious and good portions. We shared mussels starter between 4! Waitress was lovely, smiling, friendly and efficient. She cared we were enjoying our meal. Good value. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff who provided excellent service and the food was sensational. Huge serving of 2 tender pork chops and fries. Pizzas are also huge with generous delicious toppings.

Had to stay in town a few extra days. Ended up going back to this place a few times. It was really nice. First off, our waiter was fantastic! A true professional. Very friendly and attentive. The owner was in and out, but was welcoming all the guests. Very laid back atmosphere. They have great food! We had the mixed grill plate, and squid cooked both grilled and fried. Everything was prepared perfectly. Prices are very reasonable. This place did not disappoint.

The food was really good but the service was a bit slow from time to time. The beefsteak with green pepper sauce was amazing. The cocktails were really good and had a lot of options, especially liked the passion fruit gin $ tonic.

Wonderful restaurant. Great service and food. We ate here in the evening and it was a lovely meal. Nice atmosphere in the garden to the side. Very good value for money compared to other places. Service was very friendly. Highly recommended.
