Pele's Place Bungalow

It is a little out of the main area of Iboih beach but we would recommend renting bikes to get around Sabang/ Pulau Weh anyway so this is not an issue.

We rented one of the rooms and toyed with the idea of upgrading to a bungalow but we realised that we weren't really spending much time in the room anyway. The room itself was fantastic value for money with a very comfy double bed and mosquito net. The AC worked well.

In front of Peles is a great spot to snorkel.

The place itself was a little quiet when we were there and I would mirror the comments about it lacking atmosphere.

All in all a very good place and wouldn't hesitate in recommending especially if you will be exploring the island rather than staying in one place. If you want to laze in one spot all day then maybe look elsewhere.

We were so lucky to have found Peles place! It’s a little bit of a walk from the town centre but it’s so peaceful compared to the other accomodation in the area. Directly in front of the villas is some incredible snorkelling (and we’re from Western Australia so we’re hard to impress when it comes to dive spots). We saw turtles, lion fish, a small reef shark and so many species of fish - it’s like the cast of Finding Nemo down there! The villa itself was sparkling clean, had air conditioning, nice lighting, a small bar fridge and even hot showers! The restaurant was closed at the time we were there (however many restaurants in Iboih have been affected by COVID and are closed or open intermittently) however the lovely owners were happy to whip us up some amazing banana pancakes and a delicious Nasi Goreng. Could not recommend the place more highly and would definitely stay there again!

Very good place for bungalows and restaurant, they have a professional chef who cooks amazing local acehnese cuisine, but also proper pizzas. The restaurant is on top of the sea with an amazing view. highly recommended

Nice bungalow with AC and fridge directly at the sea, quiet area but not far from the iboih "center", staff friendly and very welcoming. Perfect for a vacation in paradise!
