Casa Nemo Beach Resort & Spa

Wonderful resort on the island of Pulau Weh (Sumatra-Indonesia), it has a very nice and very decorated restaurant. The menu is quite extensive and of very good quality, both local and Western food. Both the facility and the location of the cabin are spectacular, you can enjoy all the peace that nature offers you. It has an extraordinary complementary offer, very good contacts with the local people of the island so that they can take you on excursions or diving. The team is wonderful, super friendly and kind, I also had the opportunity to meet the owner and she was very attentive in dealing with me. Without a doubt I will return

we planned to stay one night but felt so welcome from the very first moment so we extended. and extended once more! the place itself is super well maintained and designed beautifully, staff is friendly and helpful (organising laundry or for renting out a scooter). the lovely owner Balqis made us feel like we stayed as friends rather than guests. big thank you for everything. we definitely want to come back.

Always amazing here. My 6th time here and I will recommend this gem to anyone who thinks they need something special away from the big places bit still want people there of they need it. It's awesome. Best freakin pizza in Asia!

Beautifully designed place on the best beach on Pulau Weh. The restaurant is in such a lovely house and it has a really nice, open Bali type feel to it. The food is excellent and the pizzas are so good. We loved sitting in the restaurant away from the heat at lunchtime. The staff are super friendly and attentive.

I had reservations about writing this review because I’m scared people would start flocking to the resort, but they deserve it. The rooms are built cleverly by the hill, so each room has a perfect sea view and is surrounded by greenery.

The food served at the beautiful restaurant exceeded our expectations – the pizza has the proper crust, and all the other dishes are flavorful. The fries from the restaurant by the beach are the best! We had them every time we were done snorkelling at the beautiful house reef. We spotted juvenile moray eels, lionfish, boxfish, trumpetfish, octopus, sweetlips, slugs, butterflyfish and many other coral reef fishes.

Our stay at the resort was seriously worthwhile for the price we paid. The staff was very accommodating; they arranged the dolphin and snorkelling trips, which we had the best time ever. The only thing they need to focus on is the cleanliness of the toilets; the walls need a bit more scrubbing 😊

I stayed in a room in front of the beach, it was beautiful, the food options at the restaurant and the beach bar were also really nice. Putry and Yudi are two incredible members of the staff. Big thanks to them!
The snorkeling at the beach is great, the further you get from the shore the nicer it is, use the current to tour benefit or you will be swimming pretty hard.

The view from the room was outstanding, the beach itself is lovely although from about 12-2 there is no beach to lie on as the tide comes in. The reef is incredible and the staff are lovely, especially June on front desk who was exceptional in helping with our every request. The room is very nice and great to have a balcony.

The bathroom needs some work. The buffet breakfast was fine and the food was good, not great, but reasonably priced.

Unfortunately we only had a day on the Island, but this is a wonderful place and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Absolutely gorgeous grounds, great snorkelling with very clear water and colourful coral just 40 m off the beach, and simple but beautiful bungalows. Two restaurant options on site, one by the beach.
Most important though is their mission to support the local community and women in particular who are disadvantaged, and their sensitivity to the environment.
A wonderful spa is available too.
Highly recommended.

we had a great experience at casa nemo! we didn‘t stay there, but the restaurant, the beach and especially the staff is amazing there! we came back the whole time we were on the island. The resort is beautiful and well-treated. Every saturday night there is live music and it ends in a party. It was a great atmosphere and we danced with de locals and the honor aswell. It was amazing and we would highly recommend it! The honor is very kind and offers very good work conditions. Thank you for this magical time we spent there! Vanessa & Carina

We checked in for a night at Casanemo on Sabang Island. The resort is beautifully furnished and located on the hillside overlooking the Andaman Sea. Room was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were impeccable. Overall an exceptional experience. Will definitely be back

The room, the view, the friendly service and amazing tropical gardens made Casa Nemo a delightful experience. It was such a treat to come back to the gorgeous well maintained simple but elegant bungalow with a breeze and exquisite seaview.
Both the staff and environment made our stay just perfect. We will be back!!

Casa Nemo is a wonderful family friendly place on ualau Weh. The sea view is splendid at snorkeling at the house reef is really fun. Their new Heritage restaurant offers terrific food and drinks. We especially recommend the mocktails. Last but not least, their staff and service is outstanding, supporting you from before arrival till after leaving again.

This was my second time at Casa Nemo, and I can’t wait to get back there again soon. Smooth arrangement of reservations and transportation. The location and concept is fantastic, with a restaurant up top, bungalows perched on the hill, going down to a beach bar and beautiful beach with coral for instant snorkelling right off shore. And yet as great as all that is the best part is the wonderful group of people that work there. Keep up the excellent work team Casa Nemo :-).

Oo man, this place is just beautiful. It seats nicely on the lip of the beach. Despite the cleanliness, especially on the side of Sabang Point can be improved. I feel, I could stay here forever.

The place is just magic : wonderful sea view from the room, beautiful gardens trees and flowers all around the place, private beach and turquoise water, food from the restaurant is delicious, well decorated… The staff was so welcoming, kind and helpful. Thank you all the team it was just perfect. We will definitely come back again.

I think this place have high rating for recommended place to stay because of its location very close to the town and the place is very neat...have its own private beach...not very crowded like their neighbour. We enjoy our stay here...the only problem is so much stair hahaha. You should stay here while in sabang.

We stayed at Casa Nemo for more than a month and had a really good time there. It has a good value for the price and staff is friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable and at home in our nice bungalow. The service in the restaurant is great and attentive (which is generally not very common in Indonesia) and the manager handles things well. Although not all the staff speaks (good) English everybody is friendly and keen on helping. Best place to stay in Pulau Weh.
Definitely also check out the Aceh Heritage Restaurant which is very cosy!

We had a wonderful stay in casanemo. It is a beautiful hotel at a pretty beach with bungalows overlooking the sea. There is a lot of attention for detail, in both the rooms and in the garden. A really nicely located bar next to the beach. And a restaurant on top overlooking the garden and the sea serving good food. casanemo is close to sabang and a bit further away from Iboih where most of the diving action is. All the staff is very friendly! June really helped us with everything including organizing our trip there and away and arranging one night stay in a homestay when casanemo was full. You can have massages there, rent motor bikes. A perfect place to enjoy the beach, relax in your hammock, and pamper yourself. We would have stayed longer of we could

Casa Nemo indeed is a very nice vacation destination. I enjoyed everything. Saturday nights they have marvelous music and the singer is Amazing. The service is friendly and attentive. Loved everything and recommend.
