If you need a glittery toilet seat and golden taps, this won't be your place. If you expect everything really clean and functioning maintained by a good craftsman which is your honest with a cheerful blink in the eye and helpful host, that's your choice to enjoy the quiet view onto the sea and the amazing sounds of all the animals living in the most impressive forests I've ever been to.
Fridge, fresh water, dishes and cutlery there it is and a shower with hot water (you don't need here anyways).
Yeah, take your time for many stairs and don't try to walk between the stones in the water, just sit on your bottom and slide in - it's easy.
Whenever we make it back to this island it'll be the first address!

Stayed a few days while diving. Great place with lovely views and snorkeling out front. Can easily walk to town or restaurant next door.

A quiet Spot a 5 min walk from the little village of iboih beach. If you want some quiet time with a breathtaking view of the indian ocean, that is it! Loved it, and the ppl were super helpful.

Treetop guesthouse really is an amazing place to stay on Pulau Weh. The apartment is spacious: it has 3 airconditioned bedrooms so our family (2 parents, two teenagers) had some room for themselves after few weeks of travelling. Its clean and beautiful situated directly at the sea. Nice hammock I used for hours every day. Two warm showers and a little kitchen that we used to make coffee and tea. During our stay the owner Wiggy brought a new fridge with freezer.
In front of the apartment is a coral reef. The coral itself has been heavily damaged by the 2004 Tsunami and unfortunately restorations afterwards were not that successful. Fish are beautiful though, we spent at least an hour snorkeling each day (see pictures)
The owner Wiggy is a very nice guy with a great sense of humor. He contacted us every day to see if everything was fine. Has a lot of knowledge about the island and the village and was a great help in organizing our trip back from Pulau Weh to Medan: arranged drivers and bus tickets for the DeLuxe overnight bus from Banda Aceh to Medan. (a way of transport we can recommend - as long as you take the DeLuxe bus that has 3 seats, the other busses are horrible).
Wiggy also advised us some restaurants like Le Café Bleu and Molina's Café what were indeed great places to eat (see my reviews). The restaurants are in the village, which is quite small - you can go everywhere by foot from Treetop.
We really, really hope tourists find there way back to Pulau Weh after Covid because the island and the people really deserve it!!

Perfect place to escape the noise of a busy and fast paced daily life.
The tastefully designed and spacey bungalows are tucked in the green facing the ocean. You can snorkel and swim right in front of them. The marine life is beautiful! We spotted parrot and surgeon fish from our balcony!
Drinking water, tea, coffee, towels and bedsheets are provided for you.
The bungalows are located 400m walk to the closest village, that has a variety of cafés and restaurants as well as convenient stores to get snacks and food. Most restaurants offer take away too. The owner can help you rent a motorbike and recommend ‘secret beaches’ to go to and areas to explore.
We had a wonderful time and will surely return as soon as we get the chance to.

Good modern, clean, well equipped bungalows; most overlook the sea with the upper ones on tall stilts: these are particularly good for spotting wildlife in the trees, e.g. fruit bats, flying lizards in the trees.

Easy walking distance from the town via a short but steep hill. There's a path that avoids the second steeper hill. Our room had excellent wifi and was very peaceful; sleeping to the sounds of crashing waves.

The nicest place to stay in Iboih. The huts are well separated and airy, unlike the rather dank ones north of town (except Yulias). Quite fan and good mosquito net.The height makes it safe to sleep with the double doors wide open to the sound of the sea.

Negatives: very steep, deep steps that would benefit from a handrail.

Access to rocky shore that's excellent for snorkelling; there's coral covered rocks within an easy swim. But it's a bit of a struggle to get in and out.

Great accommodations. Probably the best option in the vicinity of Iboih Beach. The four bungalows here are located among some trees about 500 meters from the main hub of activity, so you'll get peace and quiet all through the day (and night). They are also fairly new and still in really great shape. Clean, too.

Each bungalow has a big bed with mosquito net. There's also a big water cooler/heater so you avoid adding to the world's plastic bottle problem.

There's also a nice hammock in each bungalow, if you're into that sort of thing.

As has been noted, there is some good snorkeling on-site, but on a windy day the waves might be a bit too choppy for novices.

The owner is a nice guy, humble and friendly.

I came for a night and stayed 3 weeks. Simple, clean, relaxing.

Nice place to stay

El que regenta el negoci fa que tot sigui molt fàcil. Les habitacions estan netes i el matalàs es molt còmode. La cuina es bàsica però te (casi) de tot. Molt recomanable

这是一家很好的度假村，位置就在公路边，距离中心海滩步行十分钟左右，交通比较方便，但要租车或包车才能到达，没有公共交通。度假村的前边就是大海，海水清澈透明，可以浮潜，能看到很多鱼和珊瑚礁。如果是浮潜和游泳，要走一段台阶，下到海里有很多石头，要特别小心。浮潜能看到很多珊瑚和很多鱼，还有龙虾🦞、海胆、砗磲！
度假村有四个独立的度假屋，房间里面有空调和免费的 WiFi，有独立的卫生间和淋浴及独立的阳台。卫生也很好。
度假村还有一个家庭独立套房，有三个独立房间五张床，一个厨房，可以自己做饭！有两个卫生间，可以淋浴!
度假村的老板和员工，非常热情，服务周到，基本做到了有求必应。经常帮助我们购买食品！

Netter Besitzer, hat neue Handtücher und Bettwäsche angeboten, war allgmein hilfsbereit und für Smalltalk offen.
Der Standort ist gut, quasi am Rand von Iboih, daher ist man sehr ruhig gelegen und hat kaum Nachbarn (am anderen Ende von Iboih kam es mir etwas voll und eng vor).
Das Bad vom Bungalow ist etwas älter aber trotzdem sauber.
Heißwasser zum Duschen hat gut funktioniert, Klimaanlage war gut, Wasserspender war gut, Wasserkocher auch gut, Kühlschrank auch gut,
sogar Teller und Messer war da.
Bett war etwas klein für 2 und zu weich (sehr subjektiv).
Ins Wasser kommem war schwer aber die Aussicht allein reicht auch von oben.
Zum Bungalow geht es steil die Treppen runter, daher evtl. nichts für ältere oder geh behinderte Menschen.
Ich würde wieder kommen.
