I visited in 2011 and was excited at how you could walk right up and wander about inside; no one seemed to mind that a tourist was exploring about. I've heard that since then an interactive energy museum has been installed which sounds interesting, though I'm unsure if unfettered access throughout the station is still permissible.

You can visit the installation surroundings though.
