Hafnarberg - Sea-cliffs

F road to get to the point where you have about an 0.8 mile walk to the cliff. 4x4 recommended. Rocks and areas of sand on the road.

Beautiful rocky cliffs. Scenic photo opportunity. Seeing waves crashing them is very breathtaking! Parking is free, atleast at the moment (August 2023). Would greatly recommend!

Stopped here on a whim, not disappointed, short easy 3 mile round trip hike with gorgeous views and tons of birds, we were only ones there

About 90 minutes from parking because this road was closed but this was perfect. So what I'll never seen before

Is a little difficult the way but depends the month that you go.

In June is very easy to drive but all the way is with stones and holes.

In the way is a beautiful lake that is crossing the place beautiful view to the ocean.

Has a special parking lot , but I saw cars driving up the hill to be in the top. But is very risky and is the same view.

The most amazing is the view in the cliff that has doble lines of protecting people to falling down.

Are thousands of birds living there and is beautiful to see them flight and hearing them.

Totally recommend this spot that is not very famous or touristic.

Not easy to reach but more than worth it. Seeing the waves crashing against the cliff is a real show, just grab the popcorn and enjoy. A 4x4 is recommended, otherwise stop the car very early when entering the bumpy road

One of the many amazing places to watch the ocean beating on the cliffs of the shore in Reykjanes is at Hafnarberg. The cliffs are tall, located just south of town Hafnir, an old fishing town. The area is particularly popular amongst bird watchers, as the cliffs are home to many different species of sea birds.

It's beautiful, just the way there is long and boring haha. We had to park the car far away since it was pretty rough. Worth it

Non vi dico bugie, la strada per arrivare dal parcheggio è lunga e con il vento che abbiamo trovato noi MOLTO FATICOSA anche se per lo più piana (al ritorno, 40 minuti con forte vento contrario). Esperienza fantastica di un percorso in mezzo al panorama di rocce e nulla dell'Islanda. Grazie alla giornata ventosa e con nuvole basse e plumbee sembrava di camminare su un altro pianeta. Alla fine il regalo (peccato x il tempo) di una spettacolare vosta sulle scogliere NERE e piene di uccelli. Da vedere ma preparatevi a scarpinare. (plus è la presenza di pochissime persone sopratutto sull'ultimo tratto che vi porta alle scogliere (molti si arrendono) se avete un fuori strada una sterrata dimezza il percorso da fare a piedi (la strada corre parallela alla asfaltata) - Vi consiglio di farla nei primi giorni di permanenza!

Un lugar no muy concurrido. Si tienes tiempo de sobra, las vistas son bonitas. Eso si, prepárate para andar sobre arena. Duración total (ida+vuelta) entre 1:30 y 1:45, según el paso al que se vaya.

45minut tam 45minut zpět.Racci na skalách a pohled na Atlantik.Silný vítr a zima.Jedině v létě. ❄.

Absolut unbeschreiblich. Natur pur in seiner schönsten und eindrucksvollsten Art. Der Atlantik prallt gewaltig gegen die vielen Felsen. Zudem sieht man hier unzählige Vögel, die in den kleinsten Nischen der Felsen sitzen.

Mooi uitzicht maar wandeling is wat langer dan het in de eerste instantie leek. Voor ons geen probleem, je hoeft niet alles op 5 meter afstand van de auto te hebben.

F-Roads, un endroit où vraiment il faut rouler dans un endroit rocailleux et désertique. Mais ceci dit, la récompense est présente.
- Il faut rouler 10 bonnes minutes lentement mais ensuite ->
- Il faut marcher environ 20 minutes jusqu'à la falaise et là, vous avez une superbe vue...
C'est une belle falaise avec des nids.

Tout le long de la marche sur les rochers et cailloux on voit de la mousse ancienne qui a perduré. Avec des structures que les passants décident de mettre en place. Ca donne du charme au paysage. Et parfois on remarque des anciens murs qui ont été détruit.

Lieu calme vu qu'il faut marcher. Très bon spot pour voir les Orques (une 10aine d'individus observés à la longue vue).
