We traveled to Iceland to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We traveled by camper van and were very fortunate to camp and dine at Hotel Breidavik before we explored the bird cliffs at Latrabjarg. The owners were very friendly. Our meal was one of our favorites during our two weeks in Iceland. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. The owner bakes the bread herself and it is amazing (we bought a loaf). The camping area had nice amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and hope to return to explore more of this historical place.

Cozy place with great food and service.
Host was sweet and attentive. Good spot for stop over on the way to see puffins.

I arrived after the restaurant had closed but they took pity on me and served me some soup and warm bread. We had a nice chat afterwards too and they offered to do a wakeup call if the Northern Lights appeared (which they did!)
My room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and its door opened directly to the parking so it was easy to move my motorbike baggage into the room for the evening. If your bathroom has the small hot water tank in it, just make sure it is set to max when you arrive.

Ate at the hotel restaurant and had lamb shanks. Host was very sweet and helpful, and was easily the best meal of our entire trip!

If I could give 6 stars I would! Location location location! After an amazing time hiking and bird watching at latrabjarg I pulled into here and had the most warm welcome from the owner and a delicious dinner of lamb and chocolate cake! It was amazing. Then I pulled my camper van into their campground which is right up against the beach. Strolled down to the water for sunset and had an amazing evening! A must visit when in the area! Toilet/shower for the campground was clean and worked perfect. The kitchen and dining area inside was very nice as well.

We tent camped here. But even so we found the guest house very accommodating. Great kitchen and showers. Laundry was broken in the camp site but they washed it for us in the guest house!! Bar was open until 10pm which is rare in Iceland. Good prices on bottles of wine. Walk down to the beach at midnight to have a magical experience. Camping was on the expensive side at 2200 isk per person but in my opinion it was very worth it.

A great hotel. It is literally in the middle of nowhere, so the prices are understandable. Rooms are simply, but clean. The showers are not in the room, but it is fine. Guests can use the kitchen, which is nice. Also, the restaurant is great. We triee the Atlantic soup and boy was it tasty and filling. Afterwards, we couldnt really eat much else. The nature outside is simply breathtaking and puffins live in this area if you are interested. Overall, just great!

5 stars for the camping. Very beautifully situated at the huge bay, right behind the huge beach.
New, very good facilities open end of july, big kitchen building with lot of seats at the campsite.
When we were there, there was a kitchen in the main building. Also extra showers. Simple, but clean toilets and showers at the campsite, it looke like there will be facilities in the new building at the campsite.
There is a bar in the main building, open till midnight.
Bar and camping are a bit more expensive than usual, 2000 for camping pp, 1200 for a large beer.
12 km from Latraberg, go there early evening, in the day the puffins are out fishing and later in the evening they are sleeping.

Great campsite with great facilities. You have access to an indoor kitchen, showers, toilets in- and outside. There's also free coffee inside. Combine that with its great location (very short drive from the Látrabjarg cliffs and next to a beautiful beach), it makes for a very good place to stay for a few days. Highly recommend it!

The staff and the other guests were incredibly friendly and loving and the food is delicious after a long drive in the rain up the gravel roads of the 62. They allowed me and my girlfriend to stay in their campsite for the day without paying since we were driving all night. If you visit Latrabjarg like we did this is a highly recommended rest stop.

Very welcoming and kind staff. It is situated in front of the beach and near the puffin cliffs. They have several hot showers inside the main building, kitchen with everything you need, dinning room, bar and restaurant ir you prefer. Near the campsite there is also two more showers, toillets and washing machine. The price was 2200 ISK for person but with everything included.

My friends and I had a fantastic time here at the campgrounds, where there is wifi outside the building, which I have never before seen! We bonded with the family and workers a lot, they are truly the sweetest people ever, as well as incredibly funny!! I would recommend anyone passing the area seeking puffin's on Europe's most western edge to visit!!!

The owners of Breidavik guesthouse are very nice and friendly. Same words about working stuff. They have very good showers, good kitchen with fridge and stoves. Also they have a restaurant with a good food. Campsite and guesthouse rooms are close to the empty golden beach. I recommend take a walk there. Awesome place, only 12 kilometers from Latrabjarg cliffs.

Several room options. Mine was cosy but not very expensive. Very good showers kitchen with fridge and stoves. Very close to the empty beach. There is also campsite where you get access to the same facilities. Recommend.

If you've been Puffin watching at the Bird Cliffs, definitely stop by here on the way back! It's warm and cozy and the interior is beautifully designed with puffin decor and a spacious dining area. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and knowledgable about the area, and they offer free WiFi and coffee, which is wonderful when you're cold and tired from hiking around in the Westfjords!
