Awesome guides by an awesome company. The highlight of our day was the great FERNANDA at the front desk, alongside with her colleague. Fernanda was so polite, funny and passionate about her job. She also helped concerning a huge problem we had. She solved everything easily and made our stay 2000 times better, literally saving the day and our trip. She also gave us recommendation for one of the best places in the whole island. 100% recommended

A perfect experience. Our guide Sylvia was very professional but most of all she had patience with us as it was the first time that we did the glacier walk and the ice caving. Sylvia’s experience made it all fun and easygoing. Thank you Icelandic Mountain Guides!

Highly recommend doing snowmobiling with IMG! 🤩 Nice office, equipped changing room. We were a small group led by a super kind and helpful guide Paweł, who provided us great briefing and instructions regarding operating our snowmobiles, all with good sense of humor and safety was at the top level!
The pace of the tour was great and really fun, we made few stops and were told more about glaciers and some views we were passing by. Definitely must-do activity in Iceland, thank you!

Fantastic tour guides! We were supposed to do the snowmobiling tour but the weather was too bad, so they suggested doing the ATV tour instead. It was awesome! My whole family loved it.

Absolutely incredible experience with the ATV black sand beach tour today. Magne was an amazing guide and we saw some great sites. So fun!!

My husband and I took the ATV tour for a fun thing to do on our anniversary in the summer, no one else had booked this time and it ended up being just us so it was a private tour! Our guide, Magne (I think, I'm sorry if I'm wrong) was great. After a little safety lesson we were off, he stopped off and on to give us some information on the area. We stopped at the plane crash for some photos and it was fun going really fast on the beach. Magne had accidentally lost a pin that was special to him and I really hope he was able to find it (July 13th!).

I did the ATV black sand beach tour. I highly recommend it. The guide was informative of the area. Check in was easy. The guide was very efficient at handing out coveralls, boots and helmets for safety. I haven’t drove a 4wheeler in many years but the ATV was easy to operate. Driving on the sandy beach was weird feeling but no issues. He brought us to the old crashed cargo plane and then we crossed some water crossing stopping at a scenic spot for us to take pictures.

The staff and experience was great. Eric actually got our vehicle unstuck in the base camp parking lot, so we would could make out tour. He went went out of his way to help.

They make snowmobile tour. It takes around two hours to three hours with everything but riding the snowmobile will take like half an hour to 45 minutes only but the whole tour is very nice.

We did an ATV tour with them, and it was great. We tore across the black sand beaches, saw the Solheimasandur plane wreck, and had great fun doing it. Our guide was great, and super helpful and encouraging to those in the group who hadn't driven an ATV before. Well worth your time and money. If I'm ever back when snow is on the ground, I'll be looking to them for some adventures to go on!

He was very professional, informative and funny. We felt very safe and had so much fun! A must do in Iceland

Booked the South coast and Glacier snowmobile adventure and it was really good fun. After getting kitted up and a twenty minute journey to the glacier we had a safety talk and then let loose on the snowmobiles. After about twenty five minutes riding we stopped and took pictures and had a little information given to us about the glacier we were on. Then we headed back along a bouncy mogul type track, all great fun. The only negatives I could give are you are always bound by the slowest riders and it is bitterly cold on top of the glacier. The two guides, Lucas and Lewis (Louis?) we're very friendly and capable.

My wife and I did the 2 hour ATV tour and it was our favorite part of our trip! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommended and I will want to do this again when we inevitably return to Iceland.

We 3 of us had just taken this Tour 3 days back. Thoroughly enjoyed, it’s very bumpy ride throug out so b careful for people having back and neck problem . Takes through different terrain , rugged mountain , rivers , black sand beach etc . It’s about 2 hour , they provide proper suits and all . Worth trying ,

First of all, the people who work there are very nice people. The instructor is very friendly, and he stops at the nice picture spots for us. The view of the snow mountain is great it was so cold, but they gave us the special full jacket, so not too bad. They give you gloves but I recommend you to bring - 20c glove by yourself. The most greatest thing is amazing view from the mountain. You gona enjoy definitely!!

Most people would leave in negative review because originally we were supposed to do the snowmobile ride but the weather would not accommodate us going on snowmobiling. They gave us several options included getting refunded or an atv tour. We opted for the ATV and This tour on ATvS was one of the most professional tours that I went on while I was in Iceland. They told us everything that was going to happen and prepared us for our atv tour.They answered your questions and any concerns that we had in an extremely professional manner. There eere more than accommodating I would highly recommend going on the tour with these people as they exceeded my expectations.

Amazing experiences. I preferred the ATV while my husband liked the snowmobiles best. We had a fast group on the ATV ride but had to keep stopping and slowing down for laggards to catch up on the snowmobiles which was annoying. It’s not the fault of Arcanum, just hope you get a fast group or order a private tour if you like to go fast.

We had the BEST time. Unfortunately conditions meant the glacier was inaccessible for snowmobiling but we were offered the ATV tour as an alternative (or reschedule/refund) and honestly think we had more fun! A really varied landscape, going through water, slush, snow onto the black beach, to the coast and plane wreck. We had two kids with us (8 and 11) who also loved it and want to go back when they're old enough to drive them! Refund for the difference in price was also processed promptly. Really friendly guides, a great way to end our week away ☺

Went on 2 amazing tours with this group. The snowmobile and ATV tours. Well worth every penny and Pepe our guide was top notch. The snowmobile ride was during a white out so visibility was low but I personally thought it made the trip more exciting. The ATV scenery was outstanding, good way to see different areas in the region, with a stop at the plane wreck.

Great experience! It can get quite bumpy at speed (and they let you go FAST!!) so be prepared to brace with your legs over the bumps to save your back. Overall amazing tour.

SPECIAL NOTE, if you are an experienced rider that likes to go fast and keep up with the guide, please request to be up front. We were unfortunately stuck behind a very slow rider and it rained on a-lot of the experience. However, being experienced in this, we eventually started to purposefully make distance between us and the slow riders, and then gunning it at max speed for a hundred meters at a time to make up for the lost adrenaline rush.

This tour was amazing though and the guides and equipment were top notch! Expect to get wet on the river portions!
