The motorhome we rented had a flat tire on a Saturday night in the middle of nowhere. We didn’t have a spare and the damage to the tire greatly outstripped the repair kit’s (that we did have) ability to fix. Uni drove out and put on a spare, we drove to his shop, where he put on a new tire. Great service!

Had a blowout, and our rental company directed us to UniCars. Uni picked us up and towed the car back to his shop, and got us in and out very quickly. They didn't have a new tire of the size we needed, but they put us in touch with a place that had one so we could take care of it the next morning and get back to enjoying our vacation.

Had a star crack in the windshield of our own motorhome. We showed up and asked for a repair. 40 min later we left and all was done perfectly.

Our rental car broke down and they came to the rescue. They handled everything with the rental company for us. We had to stay one extra night in the area and they gave us a ride to the hotel.

Our Dacia Duster broke down in the morning on our way to Fjaðrárgljúfur. We called the rental company and gave them our GPS location. They sent us help and a guy from UniCars showed up in just about 30 minutes. He ran a diagnosis tool on the car and then we drove the car, which was barely driveable, to their shop 10km away. They took a look at the engine and quickly figured out the source of the problem, which happened to be a piece of the intercooler. They did not have the replacement parts, but they arranged with the rental company the shipment of the parts and a new car for us. Since the rental company had to ship us the new car from Reykjavik, we decided to stay in town one more day. The guys at UniCars then drove us to the hotel and helped us with all the luggage. We received the new car in the evening. Overall the best experience we could have given the situation with the car.

He saved me in the middle of nowhere with two tires down during a snowy day! He fixed very well the car and after we return to Reykjavík safe. He was very very very kind! Really!!! It was a pleasure to know him and he helped me a lot to understand why my car was broke! Thanks again :) :)

When we got a flat they quickly gave us a tow and changed our tires. Above and beyond they also contacted our car rental company and advised that the original tires were in such bad shape that the car rental company agreed to pay the bill. Really nice guys and we were thankful for their quick and great service.

I recently went on a trip to Iceland with a group of friends and unfortunately, our car got stuck in the snow due to terrible weather conditions. It was extremely windy and snowy and we were stuck on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. We were in a bit of a panic and didn't know what to do, but thankfully, we were rescued by the amazing team at Unicars.

They responded to our call for help quickly and efficiently, despite it being late at night. The gentleman who helped us was incredibly friendly and professional, despite the difficult weather conditions he was working in. He made sure that we were safe and comfortable while he worked on getting our car out of the snow. He was also very knowledgeable and was able to explain the whole process to us in a way that we could understand. He even double checked everything to make sure it was safe for us.

The whole experience was made even better by the great customer service provided by Unicars. They went above and beyond to make sure we were okay, and were happy to help despite the late hour.

We are extremely grateful to Unicars for their prompt and excellent service. They truly saved our trip and made it a memorable one for all the right reasons. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of roadside assistance in Iceland. They have the best customer service and they truly care about their clients. 10/10 would definitely use them again!

Our van rental had a coolant leak. Our rental company directed us to UniCars. Of course, it was a Sunday evening when this happened and the fantastic mechanic was there very shortly after our arrival. He was able to get us a short term fix so we could continue on our journey until a part could be ordered.
He offered us coffee and Wi-Fi while he worked and was so kind to handle the rental company discussions. He had us a fix and back on the road in about an hour. So thankful for his quick and handy service!

Our tire was quickly repaired after a breakdown. Everything was done within 15 minutes. The bill payment went directly to the car rental because we had a tire protection in our contract. So we had nothing to pay. That's service. Thank you so much. Five stars and more.

Very nice, very efficient, we were seriously stuck in black sand at 22:00 miles from any main roads and he showed up within an hour and pulled us right out. Charged an arm and a leg but was incredibly efficient and our only option.

The guys took care of my flat tire in 5 minutes! Perfect repair shop.

On our trip around island I destroyed a tire on my Ford s-max.
We were helped perfectly and the drive to the workshop was another experience. I will not forget how the employee had to laugh after seeing the speed limit sign for winter tires (210 km / h).

Called outside of opening hours due to getting my car stuck on an access road. Received great, professional yet personable service with a bill that matched the original price quote. Very happy and was able to continue my journey much faster than I expected.

Very helpful and professional. We had a flat tyre quite late at night and the tool provided by the car rental was too worn out to change it ourselves. Uni came out and changed it very quickly and also fixed our tyre the next day. I would definitely recommend him.

I couldn't have fallen better, my 4x4 broke a hose in the tracks, in less than 2 it was repaired really at the top 👍

We are renting a Camper Van to drive the Ring Road. We were in Skaftafell when we noticed our rear passenger tyre losing air. We called the rental company, who directed us to UniCars. We were able to make it back to the town, and they repaired the leak within 30 minutes, at a fair price. And we were back on the road! Thank you UniCars!
