Worth every penny. What a little gem of a place with unreal views. I would recommend anything fish related! Group of 3 all got fish. Fish and chips, fish burger and fish pie. I had the burger. Melted in my mouth! Buffalo chicken wings to start.

Great food, good service and good vibe about the whole place. Double cheeseburger with fish and chips in the photos. My friend said that was the best fish and chips he’s had in a long time. Well worth a stop.

Stumbled into this gem after a days adventure heading to Hofn. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly. The lamb chops we ordered was amazing!!

Lovely little pub in Vik, with views to the sea and delicious food. We ordered the fish and chips and the artic char and it was really yummy! The pub is cosy, nicely decorated. After lunch, you can walk to the beach from there and look at the impressive views.

Great pub with good food and amazing food! Got a nice window seat and enjoyed every second of it. The fish and chips here are soo delicious! I also enjoyed the artic char. Staff are nice and provide great service. The atmosphere is very laid back. Decent parking available. Would recommend!

My husband and I were passing through Vik and decided to stop here for lunch. It was a foggy, rainy day and it was nice and warm inside. As we sat in the window to look out on the cliff and beach, the sun began peeking out from the fog. We saw a group ride by on horses which was a fun treat. It was a cozy place inside, all windows and a little seating area with couch/games as well. Our server was very nice and attentive. The menu options were fairly small, and for someone who’s a bit picky, like myself, it was hard to find something. My husband got the fish and chips and I got a hamburger with fries. I tried some of his fish and it was delicious! And huge! Filled the entire plate, he couldn’t even eat it all, that’s why I ended up eating some. The burger was just ok. Nothing out of this world, just a normal hamburger. We also got a creme brûlée for dessert and it was very good, I could have eaten the entire thing without splitting it, lol. There is a ship outside you can climb up on, which of course my husband did. Fun little stop.

Arrived in Vik late on a Saturday night and just wanted some beers and some appetizers. The beers were great, the Chicken Wings were fantastic, having lived in Canada for the last 13 years, these Wings were as good as any I have had in North America, only two sauces but both were great! Awesome couple of hours spent here, highly recommend to anyone staying in Vik.

Very delicious meal! We got the pesto pasta, fish and chips, the brownie, the crème brûlée, plus drinks The staff was friendly and the service was quick. It is a nice pub environment, with a nice view of the beach.

Really nice restaurant. I’d say it’s way more of a Gastro Pub then just a pub. We were 3 people and all of us couldn’t even decide what to get as all options sounds just delicious. When we we finally settled and the food arrived we were beyond impressed. Good sized portions of absolutely fresh food, that doesn’t come right away, so you can tell they took their time to prepare it just right. It was just fabulous. I for once had the fish and chips and it was great, I mean, when even the fries taste like real food you know it’s the real deal.
They had quite a few drink options and 3 excellent beers on tap (IPA, one standard lager and a sour) which were all just beautiful.
Food in general is pretty good in Iceland, but this was at the very top.
Also the restaurant itself is very nice, clean and stylish. Service was friendly and very helpful. Totally recommended.

had a great dinner experience here. the lamp chops tasty, the icelandic stew essentially mashed potatoes with pieces of cod mixed in and also v yummy. we had a table at the corner with visible view of the rocks at black sand beach. highly recommended.

Great spot! I was in Vik over 3 months ago and still think about the fish stew I had here. It was just what I needed after a long day of hikes. Friendly staff and plenty of drinks on tap, would recommend!

Cozy place to eat near the gas station. The main courses took a bit long to arrive, but tasted good and the portion was great. I recommend the fish and chips, as well as lamb chops

We ordered a lamb chop and an artic char as recommended by the waitress. They're in generous portion and the taste are amazing 😍 absolutely worth it. Don't really like the rocket salad though 😅Also a superb experience dining in the quiet pub atmosphere with the green view.

Nice restaurant with excellent local cuisine and very good service.
I recommend the Аrctic Сhar - it was fresh and tasty. Seafood pasta and fish and chips were also very good.
The restaurant has a nice view of the beach and the mountains and enough parking space.

My wife and I had a very nice dinner at Strondin Pub. The food was good, the service excellent and in addition we had a fine view from our table of the beach where the pub is situated. With high winds during our visit the view was quite dramatic.

Although the pub was well attended, the waiters were quite attentive but without hurrying us to decide on food or drink. After making our selections, the drinks arrived quickly and the food not long after.

We had lamb chops and beef and ale stew respectively. Both dishes were delicious, as were the latte and espresso, we had later as dessert.

With good acoustics and tables well spaced, it was not a problem to have a conversation while dining.

All in all, we had a very enjoyable evening in pleasant surroundings with good food and wine and attentive service. The pub is well worth visiting.

Great atmosphere with a local flare. Kind and friendly staff, but the food was over the top good. Fish and chips, arctic charr, calamari, lamb, traditional Icelandic stew, all incredible. The locals love it too.

Great little pub, the food was great, we had the Iceland fish stew and the double burgers, that fish pie as amazing, wow. The atmosphere and service were equally good. Free parking onsite too

My husband and I stopped here for drinks and dessert on our anniversary. We didn't have any of the food but the dessert was good. The servers were friendly. There was a dart board we played and had a fun time.
