Ravencliff Lodge

We spent one night in this guesthouse. The place is clean and the instructions clear for your arrival. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom spacious and clean. Located a little way back from the road (on a gravel road) but was located perfectly for our road trip around the country

This is the perfect hideout to relax and take in the beauty of the land. It is fairly remote and you have to drive on a short stretch of gravel road but, oh boy, is it worth it!
The lodges are very well equipped with anything you might need and the view is amazing. The owner was very friendly and helpful through text messages and it is a shame we never got to meet her.
Highly recommend for a couple nights of rest and relaxation between hikes in the area.

I booked Ravencliff lodge for 6 days at full capacity (main house + both cabins) for a film crew shooting a shortfilm around Snæfellsnes in early february. First off the hosts are wonderful, helpful and very flexible people who catered to our every need, informed us about road conditions on our way and just really helped us along the way. As there had been very intense snowfall they even had the driveway privately cleared for our access. The main house is super cozy and has large comfortable beds and a really nice bathroom, the cabins are also very cozy with good showers and a big bed and a small kitchenette. I believe I also saw an outlet to charge electric cars on the barn, which is very rear in rural Iceland!

We loved seeing the horses around and the location is just absolutely stunning! Will recommend a stay at Ravencliff!!

Very nice place to stay. I spent there one night and I really enjoyed it. It's in the middle of nowhere with almost no traffic so you can fully enjoy nature, animals and mountains around. There's even no mobile signal. Someone could complain but i liked it :) but don't worry - there's Wi-Fi so you are connected to world.
The room was clean and big enough. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen offers various tools. Unfortunately there is no tea. Bathroom is big and very modern and nice. There's self check in with locked boxes so you can arrive literally anytime. Don't worry about gravel road to accommodation, it's short and easy.

The ravencliff lodge is fairly amazing! They gave us everything we need, and even more because they had some spare space. The landscapes are amazing there and it's so quiet. I recommend it 100% and I would like to come back sometime!

Perfect! This spot is quiet, peaceful, and secluded. A nice small space with everything we needed.

Enjoyed our one night stay in this neat and quiet valley, hidden away just by the mainroad! Clean and nicely renovated old house with a touch of soul!

Nice place to stay over night if you drive to Korkjufell and Londrangar in one day. Big bed, toilet, shower and a small kitchen with toaster and microwave and good coffee and tea.

Very clean, nice and comfortable. Quite far if you don't want to visit snaefellsness. If you want to, then is perfect

Beautiful and cosy cabins surrounded by amazing landscape. Very good beds and wonderful atmosphere!

We stayed there for a night and it was comfortable and cosy.
Highlight was seeing the northern lights form the window!

La casetta è dispersa nel nulla e questo la rende davvero una location unica e tranquilla. Spazi comuni puliti e molto belli. Camera comoda. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la chiave e i proprietari ci hanno aiutato immediatamente

Super gemütlich und mitten in der Natur zwischen Bergen, Wasserfällen/-läufen, Schafen und Pferden.

Schlüsselbox-Check-In super unkompliziert (wie überall) und sehr gute Ausstattung für den kleinen Raum

Zimmer zweckmäßig eingerichtet, Küche gut ausgestattet mit extra Kühlschrankboxen pro Zimmer. Es gab bei uns ne kleine technische Schwierigkeit mit der Schlüsseltressorcode Übermittlung. Konnte problemlos telefonisch geklärt werden. Die "Lodge" ist halt mitten im Nirgendwo. Wir hatten unmengen vor Kriebelmücken oder so im Zimmer.

Wir waren begeistert von dieser Übernachtung. Das Lodge 3 war sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet.
Heizung hat auch super funktioniert.

Der Kontakt mit den Besitzern wurde einfach und unkompliziert über E-mail abgehandelt.

Piękna okolica, wysoki standard domków, bardzo czysto, wspaniali właściciele. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja na zwiedzanie fiordów zachodnich oraz 2 godziny od Reykjaviku. Polecam!!!

Wiejski klimat, cisza i dzicz. Totalny brak cywilizacji - nawet zasięgu nie ma na szczęście jest wifi.
Dojazd szrutówką. Piękne i przyjazne konie w zagrodzie.

Siamo stati una notte di passaggio, casetta super attrezzata e molto pulita. Sono stati gentilissimi
