A must visit if you are near the area. Water temperature varies hence please try out the temperature before taking a full dip into the water. There is a parking below the hill near the hotel. Small hut just beside the hot spring for changing is also available but no toilet. Rubbish bin is available to throw your trash so please use it instead of littering around the area. Area is well maintained and not alot of crowd.

Amazing soaking pool with tranquil sound of a waterfall. Had this place all to myself on a weekday in December, which may not be the case at other times of the year. If you go, please consider making a donation for maintenance.

Nice little known hidden spot in Iceland to take a dip in before if we head to camp (if you are around the vicinity). Donations recommended for this natural hot spring. The steps in can be a little slippery so be careful. The tiny shack is for changing only. No restrooms.

Loved it!! We were lucky enough to get it to ourselves for quite a while! Something quite magical about being in a natural hot pool in the snow in Iceland!!

Soooo nice and peaceful. Loved it! There is even a hut to change. It's not that big but I had it last October all for myself for half an hour.

Gem of a find! We had a spectacular hike, personal waterfall to enjoy and finished with a dip in the ancient hot pool overlooking the landscape. Watch your head coming out of the hut seen in many pictures used for changing, its not built for tall people.

Great free hot pot tucked away on the backside of a hotel. While it is near a hotel and campsite the hot pot is free and open to the public.
When we visited in June 2021 the temperature was perfect for long bathing but there was a lot of algae. It isn't harmful but can be a pain to get off.

A nice stop on our drive. We just put our feet in but the water was hot and the area was nicely protected from the wind. The small hut provides a space to change. It is free but drop a donation in the box on your way in or out.

Small pool with excellent hot water. It's near the camping and have a small changing room. If you need toilet you have it in camping site or at the swimming pool nearly

Really niceeeee place to visit. You can get a relaxing time in this hot spring for free, and if you are lucky, you can enjoy it just for yourself

Very small, but scenic. The water was toasty, but the temperature can vary. There was no rotten egg smell either. If you don’t mind algae and like natural hot springs, try to stop by! We loved it

This was such a neat hot pot with a change room/shelter. It was a little busy when we stopped by, but everyone seemed to cycle through so no one was waiting for too long.

Fantastic hot spring with beautiful surroundings. there is a small cabin where you can change, which looks like a viking cottage. we also followed a hiking trail before sitting in the thermal bath, and it is a perfect combo.

YES we loved it. We went on the first week of April, it was all covered in snow. The little hut is clean. We got changed and run to the water. It is around 28C. It is circular and small, fits only a few people sitting. The entrance is slippery as it has some alghi, but the water is quite clean.
My partner and I were on our own there and it was magical. We arrived by sunset and had a beer there (we brought it).
