Would highly recommend stopping here on your Iceland adventure! We visited around 10am on a Wednesday morning in March, and there was a sign on the door of the farm shop saying to phone the owners if you want to go into the store. But we saw the owners walking around the farm who were friendly and let us in. The icecream was delicious and reasonably priced!! They also sold jams and and a few locally knitted jumpers+ mittens. Lots of locally sourced ingredients and the CUTEST Icelandic sheep dog who was very friendly and loved pats. Also lots of fun play equipment out the front for children (and children at heart)

Definitely worth stopping!!

Was there in September, such a good experience to get ice cream right from the source 😅 even got to go inside the stall to see and pet the cows.
They had 6 flavours, and some were quite unique like dandelion! Never had that flavour before!

They're closed in winter, but if you're lucky, the owner is nearby and might open for you. - Yes, we were lucky and the owner let us buy their goodies. We bought the Moca ice cream and dandelion syrup.

A great stop to enjoy all things dairy and to see some farm animals. The ice cream is a must. I also recommend the skyr chocolate! They also have some frozen meats. In the store, there is even a window where you can see the cows being milked! They also do tours of their farm. I saw many school groups doing a visit when I came.

What a great find!! This is a perfect stop with kids! Lots of farm animals to see. Plenty of activities to release energy from sitting in the car. The store offers locally produced cheeses, Skyr and lots of other things like meat and juices, milk and of course ice cream! You will find also gift items. Nice clean bathrooms. They have a lot to offer. Make it your next stop. We are already planning our next visit😀🚗 This is also a great stop for those without kids 😋

While they are closed sept-may, we stopped by and someone let us in (Nov). They were so kind and we took the opportunity to have some local snacks--all were delicious. We also found the best priced Icelandic wool sweaters and mittens that we've seen anywhere around the coast in the last week!

Delicious ice cream (we got two - one rhubarb and another dandelion flavor). We got to visit the cows and say hello to Rex their 6mo black Labrador.

What a hidden gem on the north side of the island. It is about a 20 minute off the ring road. I highly recommend this stop. It is a dairy farm, where they produce and sell cheeses ice cream and other dairy products. You can even take a tour of the dairy, where there are machines that milk the cows automatically. That is a sight to be seen. Nice place to stop for a bite and sit outside for a picnic lunch. One recommendation. Buy some good bread before you go there, as they do not sell bread. Good bread with the cheese would’ve made for an even better Snack. Try the ice cream. As they have a vast selection and it is quite fresh, having come from the cows just hours or days ago. There are also pigs, ducks another animals for you to wonder about and interact with!!! Great place to spend an hour!

Really nice place to make a stop in the Icelandic countryside and to enjoy delicious icecream .... and buy good quality dairy products to take along that are made on the spot. 😋😋😋

Apart from the Icecream we tried their rhubarb sherbet that was yummy too.
👍😋👍

One can also take a look at the dairy farm and the cows & the cute calves. 😊👍

This great place is highly underated. We came during a cold december winter when the ambient temperature is -12 deg thereabouts. When we drove in, the doggie gave us a warm welcome shaking its tail excitedly and it even tried to kiss and lick our faces when we got out of the car. The owner welcomed us into exploring the farm at our own pace, we walked through the pathway seeing the cows being milked and surrounded the moo moo sound was so interesting. They have rabbits too. One of another memorable animal was their cat, which loves a lot ot nuggles and love to come to you for attention for a while. Last but not least, the greatest highlight was the very milky icecream. We tried the blueberry milk as well as the pistacho! They are the BOMB. I have never tasted such well made icecream before. Im sure you will be amazed. Our iceland trip was made complete because your ice cream completes our pallate.

Very nice host, who let us go in and meet its cattle. In the restroom they even have a picture with every type of Icelandic cow.

Incredible dairy! The ice cream is among the best I have ever eaten in 60 years of ice cream loving. The cheeses were all also fantastic - especially the halloumi. The site is geographically beautiful, and the spirit of this farm is powerful, honest, and authentic. The people are generous, and the animals are happy. If you have ever wondered what artisanal really means, you can learn here.

Best ice cream in Iceland! I got the strawberry flavor and my wife had the blueberry. It was a bit out of the way for us but the drive was beautiful. We took a lot of pictures along the way. If you are in the area, it’s a must. Very friendly dogs that we played with while eating our ice cream, they also have a barn tour where you can check out all the farm animals.

We had a cheese plate and icecream - it was all very tasty! The setting is nice with cows out on the pasture and a cute farm dog watching all the visitors. To my surprise they also had a very tasty sourdough rye bread. I got a loaf to go and have been thoroughly enjoying it.

This appears in the middle of nowhere and has amazing dairy products - from a fabulous ice-cream (the elderflower one was the best) to various types of cheese. Really cool stop, super friendly staff.

Come to this place to sample good homemade icecream, good craft cheese (including their own version of the halloumi cheese from Cyprus) but don't forget to taste their skyr-konfekt! It's like a cow udder filled with the best creamy skyr I have ever eaten, covered with white milk chocolate. The shop als sells lopapeysa (traditional icelandic sweather with diamond pattern on the top) and products made with icelandinc wool. Products are pretty pricey.
