Amazing food! I tried the catch of the day and the lamb shank and they were both delicious. The creme brulee was also very delicious. I can’t stress enough how tasty everything was. 9.5/10

I came here with 5 friends. The restaurant was packed, regardless we got amazing service from Alexander and no long waits for food. The food was really good and I cannot wait to come back.

Wonderful experience at Krydd. Food was flavoursome, served quickly and service was excellent despite being a busy Sunday evening.

Absolutely enjoyed our experience. Last meal before we left Iceland. What a gorgeous restaurant. It's filled with a warm, cosy but modern atmosphere. The people are sophisticated, more of a dine, and chat while sipping fine cocktails and wine. Loved my lamb shanks. The pizza was delicious. Everything we ordered was top tier. Great music and waiters/waitresses. Well-mannered and professional. Thank you, we'll be back!

What fun!! We had wings, dates wrapped in bacon and their fries with truffle mayo...absolutely delicious. We've been back more than once.

Lovely vibe, easy going atmosphere, rustic and warm look. Super nice waiters, quick service, it is better to reserve.
Easy to give compliments on the food, it looked stunning and tasted according to the look.

We wanted something sweet so we ordered a chocolate lava cake and it was tasty. At first I thought the portion is really tiny but it was more than enough given that we ate a meal before. My only peeve would be that the dessert is rather pricey, so I could not go here every day.
Edit: came back and tried fish and it was quite nice, the aspect is spectacular.

I had originally intended on going to the Viking Village but they had changed their hours so I googled nearby restaurants and Krydd was the nearest.

I was lucky to arrive a few minutes before a big crowd of locals going to a concert afterwards (it was empty one moment and full of lively people the next).

I had the Arctic Char followed by Crème Brûlée and both were absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and the wait staff was very friendly.

I would definitively recommend and will hopefully get a chance to go back on my next trip to Iceland.

I nice restaurant in the suburban town of Hafnarfjörður. The atmosphere is cozy, the deco rustic and some original art featured on the walls.
The menu is rather simple (think Gordon Ramsey) but had very nice options with a fusion play on traditional Icelandic dishes. In our party of three everyone was happy with their meal

Really outstanding project with some art pieces and interesting furnitures.
Short menu, a little bit fusion with perfect fishes and seafood. Pizza with rather thick bottom - maybe not my favourite but also very tasty.

We loved this restaurant! One of the staff sat and translated the menu for us from Icelandic to English and described in detail the dishes. We also had great and friendly service.
I got the cod dish and my dining partner got the duck leg, which were both very delicious, some of the best meals we ate while in Iceland!
We highly recommend!

As a self-appointed burger aficionado, from the Dairy and cattle heartland of the USA, I an undoubtedly say that Krydd has not only the BEST, but the two best burgers I have ever had the pleasure of trying. Both the vegetarian burger and the standard burger had a rich, deep flavor that is unmatched. The service is impeccable - our server was great, and the GM Soffia is amazing. She took every spare moment between managing customers to help us find excursions and to help us plan our stay in Iceland for our honeymoon. She was so kind and we will definitely be coming back again not only this trip, but with friends and family in the future. Thank you Soffia!

I had the Bacon wrapped keto chicken meal and it was absolutely delicious.
The restaurant definitely stands by it's name Krydd, meaning spice/seasoning, as both the chicken and vegetables were well seasoned.
Like all Icelandic restaurants, it is expensive.
I recommend it for anyone traveling in Iceland though.
The location is great, so that afterwards you can walk the coastline or explore the town.

Definitely one of the best places we have dinned in the area.
It was recommended to us by locals.
One of the staff translated the menu for us and described the dishes very well.
The ingredients are fresh and carefully picked.

Very nice staff and good service. Food is good and nicely presented. Solid option for a smart-casual dinner.

Loved the main course - Cod fillet with mashed potatoes, fresh spring onions, herbs, nuts, butter with vermouth froth. Very flavorful and beautiful presentation. Highly recommend.

The service was great and the food was delicious. We ordered a platter for two, and it was almost too much.

The food was one of the best I have had in a long time, the prices were a bit high but thats normal for a good restourant in Iceland and 100% worth it.
