Hafnarfjörður Camping

Loved this place! 1700kr/adult and 1000kr for my teen daughter. Laundry and showers included! Lots of locals for the weekend. Kitchen and wifi free to use at the hostel. A little small and crowded, but very nice. Frisbee golf course was a big bonus.

Here’s what you need to know: 1700 isk per person. 1 shower per gender, but it’s one of the nicest showers we used on our trip and the campsite is small enough that the wait wasn’t bad. Showers are included. There is a place to wash dishes. Overall, very good. Would recommend.

Fantastic! Hostel amenities available for campers until 10pm each night including a nice kitchen with 2 stoves available and a separate dining area, included hot showers, and free washers and dryers.

In addition, they have a book exchange and can provide you with free propane left from other guests. Lots of food in the free area too.

Good camping, clean, quiet, had a restful last night in Iceland there. The only thing I would suggest is that they invest in more showers: the shower is nice, hot and not timed but there is only one so if you don't wake up early you might have to wait a bit. Still a lovely campsite.

This campground marketed itself as a good first or last camping stop for a visit in Iceland and I have to agree. It was my last stop and it was nice. There was a washing machine and dryer, there was a shower with hot water, and bathrooms. The lot is a little small so make sure you check that there is a place for your vehicle before you pay for a night. There is a giant patch of grass behind the building that you would think is the campground, but it is not and you are not allowed to park there. The lot you can park in is a little off the driveway and to the right. There is also a hostel if you are interested in getting a room and want access to a kitchen and places to plug in phones and what not. The hostel is open to campers during the day, but it is closed to campers at night and is obviously available to the hostel guests all day and night.

Great campsite, definitely the best available in Reykjavik. The stay is worth the small distance to the center of Reykjavik. The common area is nicr and warm and there is a service house with bathrooms and a heated drying room. They also have many spare bottles of gas, so check that out before you make your purchases.

Great campground. ESPECIALLY if you are just arriving and need a garunteed place to spend the night to adjust.

Great camping site with toilets and showers. Free Wi-Fi at the reception. The location is perfect. You can go for a walk to the sea if you want to.

很不錯的camping site,要先上parka預定，離市區很近，廁所跟浴室也都很乾淨，很棒。
當天抵達已經晚上10點，門口柵欄在網頁上按不開，電話聯繫了管理員，很熱心很親切的幫我打開了柵欄，非常感謝。

Un camping injustement jugé à mon sens. Il faut prendre en considération que ce n'est pas un camping originellement destiné auxtouristes à proprement parler, il est à 11km de Reykjavik, fait parti d'un parc fréquenté par les islandais d'Hafnarfjördur et les bénéfices sont apparemment reversés aux scouts qui s'en occupent. Il y a un grand bâtiment avec quelque toilettes (deux pour les femmes et un pour les hommes + pissotières) ainsi que deux douche en tout et une salle pour machine à laver/sèche linge (compris dans le prix ce qui est très rare) où l'on peut également déposer ou récupérer de la nourriture ainsi que des bouteilles de gaz au Lava Hotel qui fait office de réception lorsque vous n'avez pas réservé en ligne (code pour ouvrir la barrière nécessaire en voiture). Il semble que contrairement à ce que disent certains anciens commentaires nous n'ayons plus accès à l'espace commun du Lava Hotel donc pas de cuisine/espace intérieur mais un bâtiment semble être en construction.
Le problème est en fait que ce camping est à proximité de Reykjavik et pas si cher (1800isk par pers en tente contre dans les 2500isk au camping de Reykjavik) donc il est envahi de touristes dans des proportions pour lesquelles il n'est pas adapté. Après il suffit tout simplement de vous décaler des heures de pointes en début et fin de journée et aucun problème pour prendre une douche ou aller aux toilettes. Il y a une piste cyclable très bien indiquée qui débute non loin du camping et vous emmène jusqu'au centre de Reykjavik, super pratique. Forcément c'est un camping près de la capitale donc il faut s'attendre à ce qu'il y ait du monde, que ce soit un peu bruillant certains soirs et que vous ne soyez pas en pleine nature; pas d'inquiétude vous le serez forcément dans tout le reste de l'Islande 😉

Meilleur cmaping d'Islande. 1800 couronnes par personnes (330 couronnes pour la taxe en plus) douche chaude comprise.
Il y a une cuisine très bien équipée que vous pouvez trouver au niveau de l'hôtel, accès jusqu'à 10h du soir. Il y a aussi beaucoup de nourriture gratuite laissée par les précédents campeurs.
Faite attention les places se remplissent vite!
Il manque néanmoins quelques douches (1 seule douche par genre) mais on s'en sort quand même car comme dit précédemment c'est un petit camping.
Le check in se fait dans l'hôtel.

Der beste Campingplatz auf unserer Islandreise. Haben gleich zwei Tage dort verbracht. Zwar sehr teuer, jedoch hat es sich gelohnt. Sehr hygienische Anlagen, riesige Küche mit Herd. Sehr zentral gelegen. Wenig Platz für Camper mit Wohnmobilen.

Perfecta ubicación para el primer o último día de tu viaje por Islandia. Mucha mejor opción que el camping de Reikiavik; que nos fuimos porque estaba tan lleno de gente que parecía domingo de agosto en cualquier playa de Andalucía. Tiene duchas, baños y una cocina comunitaria donde hay mucha comida gratis que la gente ha dejado porque se va ya , además de menaje de cocina para prepárate lo que tu quieras con la única condición de que lo dejes recogido. El entorno es muy agradable; digno de los paisajes de este país. Tiene wifi gratis
