Clean and comfortable. Great location, our room overlooked the ocean.i wish there had been breakfast, but they do have a kitchen if you like to cook!

This was our final stay in countryside Iceland before heading to Reykjavik in Sep 2022. A guesthouse in Ólafsvík close to the sea where there was supposedly breakfast to be served. But they had it scrapped due to covid restrictions apparently. They do have a big kitchen with pretty much anything u need to cook yourself some food. Room was cool, location was lovely another typical northern lights spot that we fell prey to the falling fog again. But a very lovely place and host.

Very cosy and super clean. Was a great way to recharge after whale watching. Go around the back and up some stairs. Call the number on the door and a nice lady will give you the key code once you provide reservation. Nice and easy when you know 😉 .

Everything is very clean and modern. Friendly staff and nice kitchen. A small breakfast is in icluded. 35€ for a Sleeping Bag Accommodation in a 10 Bed Dorm Room is expensive but normal for Icelandic conditions. I was alone in that room for 1 night at the end of April 2017. Very good for a hostel!

It was a beautiful guesthouse in Olafsvik. We decided to stay here before exploring Snaefellsnes peninsula. The rooms were pretty spacious and clean. The hosts were friendly and the kitchen was well stocked.

It was at a walking distance from the beach and had stunning beach views from the property. Recommend staying here if you are on a budget.

Very cosy place! I was struggling with finding an open place for sleeping during this coronavirus time, there was a cell number on the door that I called and the lady came in few minutes. She was very nice and she explained how everything worked. The place was tidy and very comfortable, with clean kitchen and armchairs for relaxing. I was there just with another couple, so it was also quiet and good for sleeping. I would totally recommend this place!

We spent a night here in a twin bedroom with shared bathroom. The place is cozy, very welcoming and extremely clean! They offer a shared kitchen fully equipped and a good breakfast. Highly recommended

Such a clean, nice, welcoming hostel. We loved it. The whole place is utilitarian and Nordic. Probably the cleanest place we stayed at, from linen, to the room, to the shared bathrooms and common area. Breakfast is basic, consisting of very good coffee (milk + sugar too), cereals, bread with toppings (jams). Beautiful view of Olafsvik; a real working town. Close to restaurants, right above the Vinbudin, and near a gas station!

By far the best accommodation we have in Iceland, both in terms of room size and value for money. The room is spotlessly clean, as good as new, excellent wifi connection, huge bathroom, even equipped with a boiler where you can make your own drink. Highly recommend.

Very nice hostel, well equipped and clean. They also provide some breakfast (jam, coffee, milk, cereals, etc) , although they don't advertise it. Not expensive for icelandic standards.

Just stayed 2 nights in it and it is from far the best guesthouse I've been in during my (short) trip. Quite reasonable and very clean and modern, with a nice view on Breidafjördur. Easy to find (just left when you enter Ólafsvík, next to the bus stop) and very kind service. I highly recommend if you stay ont night in Snæfellsnes!

Some people just do things right and you can straight away see it. Nice and well managed hostel. You can bring your own food as well, there is a good kitchen.

Fantastic little hostel in an excellent spot. This was the first place we stayed while in Iceland, and it was easily the best. I highly recommend it.

Very clean guesthouse, close to some restaurants, good breakfast. The only thing that was rough was carrying luggage up the stairs outside.
