Hotel West

After driving both the ring road and westfjords, this hotel was my absolute favorite. You have to stay here if coming to the Westfjords. The host is so lovely, the rooms are stunning and clean, and breakfast is so good. The views from the hotel are beautiful in this quaint but thriving town. The best surprise was my room got a free upgrade to the large family room! Had its own private balcony and beautiful views of the water. I'm so grateful!

Such a beautiful view from the room! It was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was your standard continental options with a good waffle. Bathroom is a little cramped and the toilet is right next to the shower making it awkward to dry off without touching it or the wall.

Lovely place to stay. Delicious breakfast. Comfy, quiet room. Nice views. Recommend it.

Stayed here in June 2022. Nice place with great staff. Got a flat tire on my way there and they kept someon at the desk until I arrived after 10pm. Rooms were nice and clean. Bathrooms nice. The only remote drawback is that parking is difficult. Other than that, highly recommend. Steve

Awesome location - right in front of the waterfront. Very clean and spacious rooms plus delicious breakfast spread!

Rooms are quite small but the view is incredible. Everything is clean and beds are comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. Thank you to all the staff who were very friendly

Really nice place to stay.Clean room, friendly people and nice breakfast. Only tricky part was finding a place for dinner outside of the season. We received good recommendations and all 👍

Great little hotel. Our room had a view of the water and was very bright and airy. Blackout roller blinds helped keep out the sunlight when sleeping.

This was the best breakfast we've had included in a hotel. Waffles and a great assortment of fresh fruits.

overall a great hotel, very accommodating for someone in a wheelchair. great staff too! only hard part for folks in a wheelchair is the shower was a bit of a step up (15cm?) and tight, but not a deal breaker. still would highly recommend it

By far the nicest place we have stayed at in Iceland. Good size, modern and clean rooms. With an incredibly friendly husband and wife running the place, it's the closest thing to staying with a relative - you're looked after that well!

Small-ish hotel in Patreksfjordur. Clean rooms with cozy beds and a modern vibe. Our room overlooked the inlet. Breakfast was generous and with great variety, as seems to be common in Iceland. My photo only shows what I chose to eat but there was a good deal more to choose from. The breakfast area also overlooked the inlet and had a cozy area for groups to gather for visiting. Would recommend to anyone!

Great hotel. Stayed for a week and loved it! Good nights sleep and perfect for exploring Látrabjarg bird cliffs and the nature around the Vestfjords area. You have tours and information at the hotel. Great breakfast and the view from the rooms was unbealivable.
