Such a remote hot pool with such a great view! Also a gas station nearby. We didn’t se any person or car in a 100 km radius around this place and had it all for our own.

cheeky little sea-side tub! absolute treat. definitely worth a visit if you are nearby. perfect temperature for a longer soak. don’t forget a beverage.. 🍻

After long drive theres no better than hot bath. There was no one other. Bring your own drinks and snack

Beautiful clean water hot spring. Could not be positioned in a more beautiful setting. Approximately 15 feet away from the ocean at the bottom of a small cliff (nice steps and small changing area at the bottom). Easy to drive past, look for.the small parking lot. About 2 minutes from the gas station. Worth the visit.

We had an amazing time at this public hot springs. The water is at the perfect temperature, the setting is wonderful and the view is mindblowing.

I would highlight the whale bone decorating the pool (an humerus), which some locals told us that was set there years ago as a tribute to a famous old female whale that used to breach near that shore. Make sure to take a picture with it and share to pay homage to such a wonderful creature.

A beautiful little hot spring with a great view! There is a "changing area" but its still wide open. The spring itself is pretty small. We went in the evening and there were never more than 6 people at a time, which was a comfortable amount. More than that it would've actually felt crowded.
We're staying at the hotel nearby so it was a convenient 6 minute walk!

Really nice hot pool right next to the road, even though you can't see it from the road. There are no facilities but it's not really a problem. There is a small wall to change behind but it isn't high enough to effectively hide behind it. Water is the right temperature, warm enough but not too hot. Generally nice spot to bath, especially during high tide when the sea is close to the pool (we were there during low tide but it was still nice). We were there completely alone and the weather was great so I have really enjoyed it 😊

Great if you manage to be there alone.. water is not so hot.. the only thing I regret there is no easy access to the sea ;)

The pool is on the east side of the service station. You will see blue signs with a person swimming on the side of the road, there's a parking lot just above the pool.

Free natural thermal bath with amazing views of the sea. Water also relatively warm. A must stop!

Perfect for a short break with the kids. About 37-40 degrees Celsius in the water. Not too big (fits about two families) so if many cars might wanna drive on. Nice views over the bay.

Good temperature. Maybe you have to wait a couple of minutes. Not that big but the view is amazing.

This was my favourite bath/hot spring in Iceland. Measured at 39 degrees in winter.

There is no better spot to take a dip in the icy cold ocean, followed by a steaming hot bath and a beer :)

Nice temperature, has space for about 10 to 14 people. Greetings to the Berlin fellows and the couple from Spain.
Was nice companionship and a good time.
Please have in mind that there are no facilities.
