We booked last minute on the same date of arrival and everything was wonderful! Super easy communication with the owner via whatsapp, who was super nice. Got welcomed also by 2 lovely dogs and could have stayed longer. Beautiful surroundings, clean studio with equipped kitchen and own shower and we got the chance to feed the horses, too! Parking directly in front of the studio. Thank you!

I only visited the place for a few hours on a cross country horse round-up. The owner/barman/entertainer Magnus was very hospitable and served us drinks in his converted barn/bar. He also took out his guitar and showed us a great time with some popular songs known to all as well as a couple of Icelandic melodies.
I would love to return and stay at the hotel/farm/guesthouse as it is located in a very scenic area and I know Magnus is very welcoming.

Gave 5 stars but would give 6 if could. We had the best sleep we’ve had in Iceland. The accommodations were good and well thought out with a focus on bringing nature and the amazing view into your room. There is an on-site pub and the owner was very kind and attempted to help us with a tire that was leaking. Close to a beautiful waterfall and offers horseback riding.

I suggest you reach out via the website and try and book your next stay.

While this might be considered remote by some people looking for more action, it was perfect for me. The only sounds are those of nature - wind, rain if it was falling, and wildlife. I particularly enjoyed the bird song in the morning with the windows open in mild weather. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, telling us their stories and answering questions about their business. A short horse riding display was well received by our group. The highlight was certainly the evening dinner, but our lunch of lamb soup and breakfast were equally good. I wish we could have stayed a couple more nights here.

Cozy, amazing environment, good C/P value, very friendly staff, lovely horse, good interior (wash basin could be bigger)... what can you ask for more?
We saw Aurora at this place!!!! Highly recommended to all travellers.

We had a truly unique stay at Magnus farm. Not only the amazing landscape, the cozy appartment, but especially the open-minded and friendly host will stay in our memories. Magnus showed us around the farm, gave us entry to the stable, let us greet the horses, dogs and kitten. He prepared the hot pot for us at the perfect time. We even missed the feeding of the horses in the afternoon, because we enjoyed the views for such a long time. We were then invitited to feed the horses in the morning, after that we we're able to chat with Magnus, he offered us coffee and we also listened to his life music. Getting to know him and the life at the farm was really impressive!
We highly recommend staying at Magnus and his lovely families' place, it was the most authentical stay we had and also the highlight of our vacation. We wish, we could have stayed longer. Thank you Magnus for the amazing experience!

Had a lovely stay for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! Very nice room, Magnus was so friendly and let us bottle feed two baby sheep, pet his horses and hang out with his dogs, cat & kittens. 100% recommend!

Really nice little hotel, we managed to find it, even in the dark and the rain! The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We got to have a look around the stables and generally chat to them and they were lovely! The rooms are very nice. Simple, but everything works well. We came in October and the weather was fairly cold and rainy, but the room was warm and cosy with underfloor heating! Beds were comfy too. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

My husband and I loved our stay here! It was definitely a unique experience. The owner Magnus and his wife were very friendly, Magnus can sing very well (among his many talents and skills) and he entertained us with live music at their bar built in their barn. The apartments have been built by the owner which thoroughly impressed us. The room is very nice with a kitchenette great wifi and the view is amazing. It was nice to see the wild life (sheep and horses) up close. The owner built an awesome stone hot tub right next to the waterfall on their property which was relaxing and makes for great pictures.

the host is friendly and is the only host that I can speak to face to face in our Iceland trip. He has offered us drinks in his Pub, however, the weather was bad, very windy and rain, so we just stayed in the comfortable little studio house.

Hands down the best hotel ever created. Every other hotel is wrong because this place exists. Great windows for northern lights watching, horseback riding, hot tub, dogs, cat and my favorite, a home made pub with personal concert. Drinking a scotch and petting a dog while listening to Johnny Cash slaps.

The horses were the best! Gorgeous and super friendly. Soaked in the hot tub, next to their waterfall after a busy day and a herd of goats came down from the mountain to join us. We stayed 3 nights and our great host Magnus even sang for us one evening in the pub/barn.

This place takes you in the past when people lived happily without any stress. There was a gorgeous waterfall behind the property with a hot tub right next to it. The owner was very nice and he let us use his personal kitchen to cook. He had almost 85 horses and more than 100 sheep on the farm. Simple and a wonderful experience that we will remember for a very long time.

The guest house was good and the room was very comfortable. The highlight of the stay was Magus's wonderful singing and his two beautiful dogs, there was aldo s hot tub with the most beautiful water fall as a back drop and breakfast in the morning was rather good.

Magnus is a really welcoming host! Everything is comfortable, bed and bathroom. The external hot tub near the cascade is amazing! We looking forward for Magnus to start making beer so we can grab one at the hot tub. Fully recommended!!

People running this small inn are extremely friendly and welcoming. The inn itself is perfectly clean, and while the rooms are small and very simple, they are really comfortable, with excellent bedding and heating.

A few notables :
- If you want to try the tölt gait, horses there (at least the one i rode) have an extremely comfortable tölt, and the riding tour is relatively inexpensive and very scenic
- The hot tub with a view on the waterfall is phenomenal
- The wifi is relatively fast and very reliable
- Breakfast is not phenomenal but comes with way enough options to get you covered for the day!

very nice place. Clean, quiet and comfy, with hot tub in the back yard. The hot tub has the view on the waterfall. Also you can pet horses and other farm animals.

The coolest farm in Iceland!! Amazing location to see the Northern Lights when the sky is clear; super quiet and surrounded only by nature. The owner is a young farmer and with his family he runs this farm with sheeps, horses and many pets. A paradise for the animals lovers

This was our first guesthouse in rural Iceland. The room was functional. The hotpot at the waterfall was breath taking. Magnus, the landlord, and his helpers were kind, helpful, nice to meet and talk to.
