Heimahumar "Local Langoustine" Truck

Great little food truck in the main parking lot of Jökulsárlón. Quick service, nice staff and convenient food option at the place. We had lobster rolls and hot chocolate. It was all great, warm and fresh. They have picnic benches outside the food truck.

Great lobster rolls and soup! Prices are very good considering you are at a main tourist attraction and quite far off from a main town. You’ll find that they are also usually one of the last ones to close down so if you get there late in the day they might still be open.

After a few hours of ice cave tour, this food truck is a must-stop. I ordered a lobster tail sandwich and a regular hotdog, while my friends ordered vegan hotdogs, and another friend ordered a lobster tail sandwich as well. I highly recommend the lobster sandwich!!! 👌🏽

Fantastic dog!! I was treated very well as I approached in my hot dog suit to order a classic pylsur — as I scour the lands for all the weenies!

The two ladies working were very friendly, and enjoyed the suit, so I decided to try some Lobster soup as well.

Everything here was delicious, and you CANNOT beat the atmosphere with the glacial lagoon right behind you as you order!

The freshness is unmistakable and all local (obvoiusly) having been cought less than an hour drive away.

Thier famous lobster roll comes in a crusty roll with chunks of lobster goodness and fried crunchy onions with that yellow sauce... Very delicious indeed. The soup os also so very tasty and with all fresh ingredients. A great way to end your ice berg lagoon experience than with fresh hearty seafood. Even the vegan hot dog is flavourful and unique that ahould be tried.

Lobster soup is unique and unexpectedly delicious - we were hungry and didn’t expect much from a food truck, but we’re pleasantly surprised. Vegan hot dog was also good.

Great little food truck in the main parking lot! Tiny langoustine tails (size of crawfish tails) in a creamy bernaise style mayo with crispy onions on a pressed hot dog bun were amazing. Warm and fresh.

I did not expect to find vegan options at the glacier, so I was super pumped. And it came through! I had the vegan roll. I eat at vegan placed all the time and in several countries. This was one of the best dogs or brats I've had! I actually ate 2! My friend who is not vegan had the lobster soup and she loved. She said she wishes there was more bread, so if you love bread ask for an extra piece. The prices were on par with all of the other places I have bought food and I have been all over Iceland. The location is amazing! Grab a dog and look at the beautiful scenery!

Stopped here twice (had to turn back at one point on our trip due to weather) to get their lobster soup and hotdogs, both of which are amazing! Highly recommended!

Highly recommended stop for a bite after a visit to the ice lagoon. The lobster roll (they look more like langostines) came with roast vegetables and was delicious and very filling. The children liked their hot dogs too.

Great seafood food truck. Nice staff. They can do a gluten free version of the lobster roll without the roll. Plan your visit to the ice lagoon around lunch so you can eat here.

Super good! Food truck parked at Diamond Beach. My husband and I got the vegan barley sausage. We were able to eat while enjoying amazing views. Staff were all very friendly. 5 stars! 👏🏻

Great food truck at glacier lagoon. I had the lobster roll, it was great, especially after a morning on the glacier. Times I dropped pieces of lobster on the ground: 2 Times I picked it back up and ate it anyways: 2

Lobster roll (hot dog with lobster). One of those unique things worth trying. Tasty sauce, fried onions, freshly caught lobster. They also offer a few other meals but then you wouldn't go for the lobster experience.

Langoustine/lobster soup was just brilliant, the best we had in Iceland. And this was out of a food truck :)

food was good, (nothing so special) but the place was very nice.
menu is small i suggest to eat the sandwich with lobster (which is not lobster) but its a normal shrimp.

Very good Lagostim “hot dog”. It can be made lactose free. They speak English and take cards. Their hot dog is also good. There is sitting available in front of it.

Great lobster roll! Just be careful because all the food trucks shutdown at 5pm. Glad we made it here by 430 because there's not much else around and they make great local food.
