Free washing - no dryer but we were allowed to hang a line outside. There’s no indoor cooking space which was fine for us in a campervan but might not be such a great place for tenting in poor weather. We much preferred this larger and quieter site to the overcrowded and noisy Grindavik.

Solid campsite. The site offers parking with power hookups for RV's, bathrooms, sinks, a washer and showers. The showers cost 200 kr in 50 kr coins for 10 minutes of water, but the campsite operator can make change if you don't have coins with you.

You can just drive in and park, and the operator will come to you so you can pay for your spot, either later at night or the next morning. They take credit cards, like most places in Iceland, but it's easier to get change for the showers if you bring cash. I believe they can also charge your credit card and give you coins, but we brought cash.

The site is also an easy walk to the beach and town. There's also a horse pasture right next to the site, which could be a bonus if horses are your thing. Overall, it's a great campsite and is recommend it!

Nice camping, especially if you are soaked and have dirty clothes. There is a washing machine and a little heated (also on summer) building with a drying rack, several radiators. The toilets are clean and well set up with hanging hooks. The pitching field has dense grass and is not soaked even in wet weather (except for some big puddles). IMPORTANT: YOU NEED 4 50 CENT COINS TO USE THE SHOWER).

Clean, Green, Toilets, Showers, Washingmachine, Room to warm up, Station for the Dishes, great place and prices are ok imo.
1.500 per Night for adults, electricity is 1.100, Showers are 200 for 10 minutes. The site also accepts The Camping Card. Driving between midnight and 8.00 is forbidden, which sure is good for a nice rest in this really quiet place.

A short walk to the water, but a relatively quiet place to camp. Very nice, newer facilities. 200 kroner for a very nice shower, reasonable price for laundry and low camping price. Not crowded at all. Nice change, considering how close to Selfoss.

Nice camp ground in a cute little town. It had a free laundry machine. The horses next door were friendly. There is a frisbee golf course too. Town was within walking distance. There is a very nice walk along the breakwall/coastline.

Campsite has the basics ..WC..laundry ..hot shower ! place is clean.. it was great , best of all the caretakers who I assume are husband and wife are accomodating..they are very friendly and respectful 💕

This is a beautiful campsite, well kept, clean bathrooms, and a short jaunt to the beautiful coast. 10/10 would recommend. Just remember to pay for your shower or you will be an icicle (I swear I didn't make this mistake)

Nice and basic campsite, facilities were clean. Showers usable for a small fee, remember to bring some coins!

Rather small camping site in a quaint town with an excellent restaurant.
Facilities in good shape, paid but very nice showers, 200 IKr per 10 minutes.

This place was awesome. Other campgrounds were full, loud and busy but no one seemed to know about this place. It is very eclectic, like a living art site. The owners were very kind. A bit less in the way of service but much better in terms of intimacy, space... lots good about this place.
